Available today on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download is the comedy film Mom’s Night Out.
Mom’s Night Out stars one of my favorite actresses, Patricia Heaton (The Middle), Sarah Drew (Grey’s Anatomy), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings triology) and country music superstar Trace Adkins.
Allyson (Sarah Drew) is a frazzled mother of three young children. She tries to be the best mother that she can be but she tends to get overwhelmed at times.
One night she breaks down and hides inside her closet. When her husband Sean comes home he joins her in the closet to comfort her. While in the closet Allyson notices a pair of high heel shoes that she loves and hasn’t had a chance to wear in years.
With her husband’s encouragement she decides that she wants to have a Mom’s Night Out with two of her friends – Sondra, the pastor’s wife and mother to a rebellious teenager, and Izzy, a mom who is expecting again and is afraid to let her husband know about the wonderful news.
The girls plan on getting dressed up and going out to eat at a fancy restaurant that they heard good things about. The plan had their husband’s getting together and taking care of the children for a few hours. After all, they kids are with their fathers, what could possibly go wrong?
A LOT can go wrong!
From a stolen car to a missing baby – even arrests – A LOT does go wrong.
Will anyone make it through the night? Will this be the first, last and only Mom’s Night Out ever? To find out you need to pick up a copy of Mom’s Night Out which is available today where most movies are sold.
There are several bonus features included on the Blu-ray and DVD for the film.
The Blu-ray™ and DVD are loaded with family-friendly bonus materials, including a blooper reel, deleted scenes and commentary with the Erwin Brothers and producer Kevin Downes. The Art of Improv is an exploration into the film’s experimental improvisation, and The Art of Action gives fans a deconstructed look at the film’s car chase sequence.

This is a cute movie, and funny too. I think most moms will be able to relate to this film and see themselves in one of the mom’s. I used to see myself as Allyson, the young mother who is totally overwhelmed by everything. Now I can relate more to Patricia Heaton’s character Sondra because I’m now dealing with teenagers.
This film deals with parenthood, marriage, friendship and love all rolled up into one crazy adventure.

I would love to win this movie because it would give my mom and I chance to have a girls night in! My mom had heart surgery a month ago and isn’t able to really get out in the world and she needs some girls time. I would plan a girl’s evening at her home where she could visit with some of her friends, maybe have some dinner, and watch the movie together to get her mind off things. She really deserves it!
