I know my kids will be interested in the Rapid Clear products, especially my teen daughter. She’s graduating from high school and starting college in the fall. The last thing she wants is to start college with acne.
I am a big fan of Neutrogena’s Pink Grapefruit products. I use their facial products often. I LOVE the smell! They truly do smell like Pink Grapefruit.
Neutrogena sent me two of their new products to try out.
Hydro Boost® Water Gel®
Suggested Retail Price: $17.99 for 1.7 oz. (48g)
Hydro Boost® Water Gel instantly quenches dry skin and keeps it looking smooth, supple and hydrated day after day. The unique water gel formula absorbs quickly, like a gel, but has the long-lasting, intense moisturizing power of a cream. It boosts skin’s hydration level and locks it in all day.
NEUTROGENA® HYDRO BOOST® Gel- Cream for Extra Dry Skin
Suggested Retail Price: $17.99 for 0.5 oz. (14mL)
Hydro Boost® Gel-Cream for Extra-Dry Skin instantly quenches extra dry skin and keeps it looking smooth, supple and hydrated day after day. The unique gel-cream formula absorbs quickly, like a gel, but has the long-lasting, intense moisturizing power of a cream, for even extra dry skin. It boosts skin’s hydration level and locks it in all day.
I have tried both products. They feel really nice when applied to the skin. It’s almost as if they have a “cooling effect.” I guess that has to do with them being a gel consistency and not a cream or lotion.
I find both products to be very soothing too. Sometimes when I wash my face it burns a bit (I guess I scrub too hard) or it feels “tight” and dry. The moment I apply the gel to my skin it instantly feels soothed and cool. It’s rather refreshing.
I’ve mostly been using the Hydro Boost® Water Gel® because currently my skin is not overly dry (thankfully). I figured I would save the other gel for those times when my skin is extra dry. With the horrible wind chills we’ve been having and sub-zero temperatures I have a feeling my skin will be getting very dry soon between the effects of the cold wind and the dry heat in our home.
I’m pleased with both products and would certainly purchase them again. I like how they feel and I like how my skin feels after I applied them.
As I learn about the other new Neutrogena products that will be rolling out throughout the year I will share information with readers about them.
