Being a stay at home/work from home mom for a big chunk of my life, I never had to worry much about taking all my daily essentials with me where ever I went. When my kids were little I would tote around half our home in my diaper bag, but that was many years ago. My kids are teenagers now.
Prior to getting a job outside of the home all I needed to carry with me when I went shopping and did errands was my wristlet – a tiny purse big enough to hold my wallet, car keys and cellphone. That’s it. That is all I needed.
Once I got a part time job outside of the home I suddenly realized that there was a lot I needed to bring with me. Most things I don’t necessarily need on a daily basis, but they are still good things to have on hand. Suddenly I needed room to tote around Advil, a comb, mirror, mints, TUMS, lip balm, hand cream, eye drops, handy wipes, tissue, cellphone plug, portable charger for my cellphone, iPad Mini (to read ebooks), snacks, something to drink, a pen, paper and occasionally my laptop, power cord and mouse.
Needless to say my itty bitty wristlet was no longer big enough.
Granted I don’t need all that stuff every day, but it’s nice to have these things handy in case I need them.
I found myself looking for a new bag that would give me plenty of room for all the goodies I need to take to work with me. I also wanted something that was fashionable, but not too fashionable. After all, I’m more about what is comfortable and practical than I am about what is the “it” look.
These days I find myself looking at bags more often then I did in the past. Even when I am out and about I check out other ladies tote bags and handbags and try and picture myself using it.
I was sent to review a super cute tote bag from a company called OGIO.

I received a Hamptons bag (pictured/described above).
The Hamptons bag is super cute. I LOVE the button details on the side. I think it was the darling buttons that drew me to that bag style.
The Hamptons bag features a “belt” (for lack of a better description) which is for decoration. It doesn’t serve a purpose.
There are plenty of pockets on the outside of the bag, ideal for a cellphone, charging cable, portable charger, pens/pencils, lip balm and other smaller items.
The bag also features a large outer pocket. This pocket can hold an iPad Mini or e-reader, pens, pencils, lip balm, make up and other daily essentials.
Inside features an even larger pocket. It is large enough for a small laptop. You could fill the inner pocket with other things like snacks, a reusable water bottle or anything else you might need.
I have a small HP Envy 360 laptop. I usually need to carry the power cord with me as well as a mouse (I prefer to use a mouse instead of the pad on the computer).
This is a pretty little tote bag which is ideal for every day use. The bags are very pretty and colorful, but they are not too fancy or ornate to take with you grocery shopping, dropping off books at the library or spending the afternoon shopping with a best friend.
