Are you familiar with Polish Pottery & Stoneware? I wasn’t until a few weeks ago when I was sent to review a couple of lovely pieces of pottery from Polmedia Polish Pottery and Stoneware. The company is located in Seguin, Texas. They are the largest retailer and wholesaler of Polish Pottery here in the United States.
According to the Polmedia website;
Polmedia is the largest distributor of Polish pottery in the world. Our 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Seguin, TX houses over 50,000 different combinations of shapes and patterns of Polish pottery. Not only do we provide the best selection, but we offer free shipping to our retail customers and hassle-free returns. We have been in business since 1991 and we pride ourselves in superb customer service. We import only the finest Quality 1 stoneware. You can count on being amazed every time you shop with us!
Polish pottery is created from white clay found only in the Boleslawiec (pronounced Bowl-eh-swa-vi-its) region of Poland. Each piece is hand stamped and hand painted by a skilled artisan, honoring a tradition centuries old. The colors will never fade due to the hard and lustrous glaze applied to the pieces before they are fired at temperatures in excess of 2200 degrees. Our products are not only beautiful, but very functional as well.
I had to check the site out for myself.
Polmedia’s retail site carries 67,864 products. WOW!!! That doesn’t include the 3,925 different shapes and 4,534 different patterns of pottery and stoneware. Just the thought of this blows my mind. I wonder how the company can keep track of everything.
Polmedia has everything from plates to mugs and from home decor to bakeware.
Unlike other companies, the gorgeous designs and shapes is what really make Polmedia products stand out from their competitors.
Here are just a few of thousands of products available at Polmedia.
As you can see the company carries so many different designs, patterns and colors. I have no doubt you would be able to find the perfect piece to add to your home or collection.

You can really use these pieces to serve you family or guests.
I LOVE the serving platters and bowls. I would love to adorn my holiday table with these beautiful pieces.
I think it would be a great gift idea to buy newlyweds a new piece each year on their anniversary to help them build up a beautiful collection.
Polmedia sent me a couple of pieces to check out. They were made by Cer-maz.
I opted to use my pieces as home decor rather than in my kitchen. I can use them in my kitchen or to serve small foods (like olives, cheese…) or condiments if I want. I just happen to prefer my pieces as home decor. I am thinking about using a piece or two to hold jewelry.
These are the pieces I selected.
4″ Stoneware Set of 3 Nesting Bowls – 1.8″ high and measures 4″ by 4″. The other two bowls are smaller in size.
6″ Stoneware Condiment Dish – 1″ high and measures 2.9″ by 5.7″. It holds 3 ounces of fluid.
The pieces I selected are very small. They are better suited for condiments, small food items (Olives, sliced pickles…), jewelry or as decorative pieces around your home. I am currently using them as decorative pieces.
The pottery is very well made and the colors are very colorful and vibrated. These are solid pieces too. You can tell when you hold them. They are not fragile by any means.
You can tell that a lot of craftsmanship went into these pieces. I also like that they are handmade so no two pieces are going to be exactly alike.
I have the site bookmarked because I think this would be a nice place to shop when I am looking for gifts for family and friends. Polmedia has lot of beautiful and colorful pieces that I know would make great gifts.
