Do you like coffee? Do you find yourself stopping by your local coffee shop to pick up your daily “cup of Joe,” or whatever specialty drink you prefer (latte, cappuccino, espresso…)?
I love coffee. I drink it every day – sometimes twice a day. My family thinks I’m “addicted” to coffee. I’m actually not. Coffee doesn’t give me a “pick me up” like it does most people. I guess I’m immune to the caffeine. When I was younger I went to college full time and held down two part time jobs, volunteered, constantly attending workshops and symposiums and I had an active social life. Sleep was not an option for me back then so I made it through my day on A LOT of coffee.
Now a days coffee actually has a soothing effect on me. I find it comforting and when I had a stressful day a cup of coffee (or tea) is a great way to unwind. The good thing for me is that the caffeine doesn’t keep me awake so I can enjoy a cup of coffee anytime of the day or night.
Personally I don’t often buy coffee at a coffee shop, but that is only because there is not one local to me. Besides, I’m a Dunkin Donuts fan. I DO enjoy visiting coffee houses and will enjoy a beverage or baked treat from them whenever I’m near one.
I love the ambiance of coffee shops. I also enjoy the specialty beverages and all the baked goodies. I can’t visit a coffee shop without enjoying a scone or muffin.
I love when you first walk into a coffee shop and you are greeted with a mix of bold, fresh, and sugary fragrances. It’s a combination of baked goods and coffee.
Air Wick Life Scents has been able to capture that intoxicating scent with their new Corner Café fragrance. The scent is comprised of constantly-changing coffee, berry, and cake scents. You can get the same delightful coffee shop scent experience without having to leave your home.
I have the new scent as a plug-in. The first time I plugged it in I honestly didn’t smell anything that noticeable. I should note that I have been very congested lately, so that could have a lot to do with it.
The other day I walked into the kitchen and it smelled like something was baking (cookies). The oven was not on so I knew the kids or my husband wasn’t baking anything. The next time I returned to the kitchen I smelled the same baking scent. At first I thought maybe a neighbor was baking but then I realized my husband had plugged in the Air Wick wall plug-in (which had the Corner Café plug in it). I use plug-ins often but I take them out so that they don’t overheat (that worries me). Plus I know that your nose can become immune to the scent so I try and mix it up a bit.
Now that I smell the Corner Café scent I am totally in love with it. It smells like baking cookies. Who doesn’t love that scent? It’s making me crave freshly baked cookies (and I’m not much of a baker).
Mmm… it smells so yummy!
Air Wick’s Corner Café is available in both Freshmatic room spray and scented oil.

FYI… National Coffee Day is September 29, 2015. What a wonderful way to celebrate with a home filled with the eluring scent of a coffee shop.

It may sound crazy but I hate the taste of coffee, but love the smell of it. I could sit in a Starbucks and just enjoy the aromas of the different coffees and cookies. I think I would really like these!

I like the smells of foods and coffee for my fresheners. I’ll have to check these out and purchase some in the room spray.
