I love the idea of making my own products. Not only is it cheaper, you also control the ingredients and know exactly what you are putting on your body.
My teenage daughter is especially into making her own beauty products. As a college student and part time employee, she has to be careful how she spends her money. Instead of purchasing expensive beauty treatments, she opts to make them herself using yogurt, honey and assorted things from our kitchen. I use them sometimes too. I also make my own hair treatments.

SKIN TIP!
“A favorite of mine is 100% raw honey. It has various benefits to the human body, especially in healing and maintaining healthy skin of all types which is why I incorporate it into all of my products. It has amazing soothing effects that hydrate the skin leaving you with a soft and radiant glow. It is also packed with anti oxidants to help slow the aging process and plump up your skin leaving you with a youthful appearance.” – Ildi Pekar
