There are so many things that we have readily available to us that we might not give much thought about. We talk about this often with the kids at work. We try and teach them about not wasting things and using only what you need when it comes to paper, glue, glitter and even the food that we offer. We try and explain to them that some people don’t have these things, or very little of them.
Take for example soap. Do you use soap? Of course you do. Soap is needed to wash your hands and wash your body to keep clean. Now imagine if you DIDN’T have soap. How weird would that be? We use soap so often that we don’t really stop and think that some people don’t have access to soap.
One brand is helping consumers become aware of this, as well as something else that is important – fresh water. The brand is called Soap Box Soaps.
Soap Box Soaps offers consumers a variety of products including bar soap, liquid soap, body wash, conditioner, shampoo and lotion. Their products are available in different varieties and scents.
Soap Box Soaps products are paraben, EDTA, phthalate free and cruelty free. They are also made right here in the United States.
I was sent some Soap Box Soap products to review. I received Liquid Hand Soap, Bar Soap and Body Wash in their coconut scent.
Liquid Hand Soap – I loved this hand soap. It comes with a pump which makes it easy to use when you are washing our hands. One pump is all you need to get your hands squeaky clean. It washes well and rinses off completely without drying out your skin or leaving any kind of a residue.
Body Wash – You don’t need a lot of this body wash to clean your body. A little goes a long way. It makes your body squeaky clean. The shea butter helps to make your skin feeling soft and moisturized too.
Bar Soap – This was the first product to go. It’s not that it’s not long lasting, it’s just that my family of four takes daily showers and use soap all the the time.
This is great soap. I washed well and rinsed off completely leaving my skin feeling fresh, clean and soft.
I love the smell of coconut. It always reminds me of the beach.
The Soap Box Soaps coconut smell reminded me of not only coconut, but also baby powder. At least that is what the scent reminded me of. When I told my husband he said he could see how I picked up a baby powder-like scent too. Another words it doesn’t smell 100% like coconut. It has some other refreshing scents mixed in (or at least that is how I smell it). Trust me, it’s a good thing! The products smell AMAZING!
I like that the scent stays on your body for a little while. It’s very subtle. After I washed my hands I could still smell the coconut scent for a few minutes later.
The products wash your body and hands very well and rinse off completely without leaving a residue. Your skin feels fresh and clean the way it’s supposed to. They even help to moisturize your skin with the shea butter.
What makes Soap Box Soaps stand out from other brands is that Soap Box Soaps gives back when you purchase their products. When you “buy one” Soap Box Soaps “gives one” bar of soap to those in need.
While working aboard, Soap Box Soap founder David Simnick learned that a bar of soap and fresh water could help save thousands of lives. That is why he created the charitable program called Hope Code.
Each Soap Box Soap product has a special code on it. When you enter the code in on Hope Code page, you can see where your purchase is helping to make a difference.
When I entered the Hope Code for the liquid hand soap I found that the soap I received to review is going to help a school in India.
That is amazing! Over 3,000+ children have been saved. That makes my heart smile when I think about that.
You are always going to need soap (bar or liquid), so why not use products that are not only good for you but also do good for others, like Soap Box Soaps.
Soap Box Soap products are available individually or bundled together for extra savings.
