Summer is almost officially over. Fall starts in just a few days (although it’s hard to tell by the hot and humid temperatures).
By now everyone is back into the swing of things when it comes to school. Our school district is on it’s second full week of school.
My kids are in high school and college. Even though they have both been back to school for over two weeks now, they are still coming home with wants and needs for the new school year. Thankfully I stock up on the essentials so we always have what they need on hand.
There is one product that should be considered a staple when it comes to skincare – ChapStick. ChapStick is America’s favorite lip balm, and a perfect must-have addition for any backpack.
My husband is one of the biggest ChapStick fans that I know. He has been using Cherry ChapStick sine he was a young boy in school. Fast forward 40 years later and he’s still a fan of Cherry ChapStick. I don’t know if he originally started off with Cherry, but I know he’s been using it every day since we’ve been together (20 years). He is never without Cherry ChapStick. I can ask him for it at any time – year round – and he’ll always have one in his pocket.
He loves it so much that for Christmas I buy him several packages for his stocking.
My own kids have been using ChapStick for as long as I can remember (at least since Elementary school). It’s the best way to keep your lips smooth and moisturized.
Our son doesn’t care what flavor he uses. Our daughter likes to try different flavors all the time.
Personally I like the mint one and often the limited edition seasonal ones like Candy Cane.
Did you know that you can now purchase ChapStick on their new online store. Their store carries a nice variety of products included tinted ChapStick products, the classics and other assorted varieties. Please note: There is a minimum quantity requirement of 3 items in order to proceed with checkout.
I received a cute little lunchbox full of ChapSticks. My whole family was anxious for me to take photos so that they can open up their favorites and take them. Right now my entire family has ChapStick tubes. My daughter keeps her’s in her purse and in her room. Our son has his in his backpack and another in his room. My husband took ALL of the Cherry ChapSticks (LOL) and I keep one on my desk, one in my car an one in my purse.
While you are picking up a few last minute school supplies, be sure to stock up on ChapStick for your student and for your whole family.
Would you consider ChapStick a “must have” back to school supply?
What is YOUR favorite ChapStick variety?
