Are you going trick or treating this year? Are you planning to attend a Halloween party? If so, what costume are you planning on wearing?
Normally I don’t get dressed up for Halloween, not since my kids were little. All I wear is a bright orange t-shirt that says “This is my Halloween costume,” along with two little bats (I believe the writing glows in the dark).
Now that I work at a T.A. in a Kindergarten classroom, and I believe my co-workers are getting dressed up, I’m in need of a costume. I’d love to go as something scary, but seeing as how the kids I work with are 4-6 years old, that wouldn’t be a good idea.
HalloweenCostumes.com is one site that I have been looking at for a Halloween costume, or at least some good ideas.
I love that they offer costumers for plus size people like myself. I absolutely LOVE the Glinda the Good Witch fro Wizard of Oz (available in plus size!). I would love to wear that to school, but we work with paint, glitter, glue and other things that could ruin it.
HalloweenCostumes.com also offers consumers couples costumes and group costumes too.
Unlike other Halloween costume stores, HalloweenCostumes.com offers previously owned costumes and costumes you can rent. I don’t know any costume company that does that. That is not only a great way to save money, but it also keeps costumes out of the landfills. After all, after you wear it for just one night most people toss their costumes out or they just sit in the closet collecting dust.
You can also trade your costumes in at HalloweenCostumes.com and get back some of the money you paid for it. I love that idea!
HalloweenCostumes.com also has a page where you can create your very own mask. You can make a mask of your dog, cat, best friend, mom or anyone else you can think of. That is pretty cool!
In addition to a plethora of Halloween costumes, HalloweenCostumes.com also offers Halloween decor.
I have a few decorations from HalloweenCostumes.com. They are the perfect addition to our creepy, Halloween home.
I have a pair of mice skeletons. One is seen in the photo above. The other one is elsewhere in our living room.
I can’t seem to find them on their site anymore. It might be possible they are temporarily out of stock.
These are almost true to size, which makes them even more grotesque.
Also from HalloweenCostumes.com is this funky looking spider skeleton. Spiders, as you know, don’t have skeletons, but none-the-less he/she is cool looking. My daughter hates spiders and she wants me to get rid of it because it creeps her out. LOL!
My favorite decoration from HalloweenCostumes.com is the bird skeleton in a birdcage. I LOVE THIS! It looks so realistic. It really adds to the creepiness on our coffee table.
I tried to get a decent photo of it, but it didn’t turn out so good. For that reason I also included a photo of the skeleton bird in the bird cage from the HaloweenCostumes.com website.
All of these decoration are very well made and affordable.
HalloweenCostumes.com has a lot of holiday decorations to choose from including realistic looking items and others that are more “family friendly” (cute and colorful).
If you would like to check out all that HalloweenCostumes.com has to offer, visit HalloweenCostumes.com. You can also check them out on social media. All of their links are found at the bottom of their website.
