Wonder Woman – Coming to theaters on June 2, 2017

*This post is in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures.

There have been A LOT of superhero movies as of late. I figured filmmakers would eventually get around to one of the most famous female superheroes – Wonder Woman.

I used to watch Wonder Woman, the series, on television when I was a young girl. It was the series where Wonder Woman was played by Lynda Carter and Colonel Trevor was played by Lyle Waggoner (1975-1979).

Back in the day I was totally into Batman & Robin, Spiderman, the Million Dollar Man, Bionic Girl and Isis (does anyone remember that television series?).

I always thought Wonder Woman was pretty cool. I wanted to BE Wonder Woman. I most especially wanted the invisible plane. I mean, seriously, an invisible plane? How awesome is that? LOL!

Now Wonder Woman is coming to the big screen in a theater near you on June 2, 2017. Check out the trailer.

It looks good. She’s even cooler in this movie than she was in the television.

Here is the film’s synopsis.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is from Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment. It stars Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright. It was directed by Patty Jenkins.

Chris Pine – total “eye candy.”

I’m going to add this film to my list of movie to see this summer.

If you would like to learn more about the film you can check out the Official Site. You can also “like” the film on  Facebook and follow the film on Twitter and Instagram.

What do you think of the film? Do you think you’ll see it when it come to a theater near you?
