I would not consider myself a “girly-girl.” I was very much a “tom boy” growing up. I enjoyed playing with my Tonka trucks as much as I did Barbie dolls, if not more.
Even as a teenager, I wasn’t really into making sure my purse matched my outfit, or spending hours on hair and make-up before going out.
As an adult, I’m content to wear my hair in a messy bun, slip into my favorite t-shirt and leggings, and dare I say, NOT wear make-up. Oh the horror! LOL!
I may not care to own a lot of shoes, or splurge on brand name make-up, but I do like shiny things (“bling”). My husband always makes jokes about how I tend to wonder over to the jewelry stores when we’re at the mall.
I love looking at jewelry. I know that we can never afford any of it, but it doesn’t hurt to look. I also don’t think that I could comfortably wear a diamond ring that cost $20,000+. I would be afraid to leave the house with it.
For years I have wanted a special ring to commemorate my marriage. Often these are referred to as anniversary rings, or eternity bands.
I’ve had a vision in my mind as to what my perfect anniversary ring/eternity band would look like. I have looked online many times (and bookmarked plenty of rings) in hopes of finding “the one,” especially one that is affordable.
Not too long ago I was contacted by a jewelry company called Anjolee. They take their jewelry seriously (more on that later).
Anjolee has been the leader in jewelry manufacturing since 1977, recognized within the industry for fine craftsmanship, attention to detail and superior customer service. They are proud of the service they provide, and the special moments they help to create. Their commitment to building strong relationships with their customers earned Anjolee a top three ranking in Newsweek’s 2018 survey, America’s Best Customer Service.
Anjolee is committed to keeping the environment clean, and they are proud of their innovative and eco-friendly manufacturing facility.
Anjolee fully complies with the federal Kimberly Act of 2003, which requires all American diamond retailers to purchase all diamonds only from manufacturers who have documented proof that they were obtained through legitimate channels.
I like that Anjolee uses diamonds that were legally and ethically sourced.
I took the opportunity to browse through the Anjolee website to check out the jewelry they offer consumers. WOW! They have a beautiful variety of rings, bracelets, earrings and more on their website.
Here are just a few of my favorite finds.
The tennis bracelet with the hearts (pictured above) is GORGEOUS!
What I really liked about the Anjolee website is that they offer you 360 degree views of the jewelry, so you can see it from all angles. I appreciate that because often websites just give you a single view of an item, and I want to see exactly what I am going to get when ordering online.
In addition, Anjolee also shows how the jewelry would look on a person. It’s a computer generated person, but they are very realistic and it does give you a good representation of how the jewelry will look on a person. They also show you different views of the jewelry on the computer generated person including up close and far away.
If a piece of jewelry is available in different metals (yellow gold, rose gold, platinum…), the website often allows you to change the metal color so that you can see what the piece would look like when you compare the various metals.
The above is a great example of what I am talking about. It’s the same bracelet, but the website allows you to see what it would look like using different metals (white gold and yellow gold).
Anjolee offered to send me a piece of jewelry so I could experience shopping on the website, as well as the jewelry. I did not receive a real diamond ring (of course), but honestly, you can’t tell the difference. I was able to fool a lot of people with the ring I received teh review. No one suspected that it wasn’t made with real diamonds. If you order from Anjolee you will received real diamonds and gems.
To say it took me hours to scroll through each page to find the piece of jewelry I wanted to review is an understatement. I was thrilled to find a ring that looks exactly like the anniversary ring/eternity band I had envisioned for myself. Anjolee was so wonderful to re-create that same ring for me to review (using “fake diamonds”). Needless to say I was stalking our delivery guys until the day it arrived.
The ring I selected is called the Supreme Diamond Three Stone Engagement Ring. I know that I’m not getting engaged (I’ve been married close to 23 years), but it’s the ring I have always envisioned on my finger.
I took images off the Anjolee website so that you can get a clearer view of this amazing ring.
I was extremely surprised to see the size of the package I received from Anjolee. I figured since it was a ring, it would come in a small box or envelope. I was very wrong in my assumption.
Anjolee made sure I received my package by having me sign for it. I think that is a wise thing to do, especially when you are shipping valuable jewelry.
What I received was a huge box. I thought for sure that Anjolee sent me the wrong piece of jewelry.
After going through the outer packaging, I found a large, sturdy box inside. When I opened that box (the one pictured above), I found the ring box, neatly tucked away inside the middle of the box, surrounded by a soft sponge-like material. Anjolee even went so far as to make “holes” in the sponge, making it easier to remove the ring box.
I was so excited to open up the ring box.
What Anjolee failed to include were angles singing when I opened the ring box (ha ha). Hearing angels sing “ah ah ahhhhh…” would have been fitting (ha ha).
Inside the ring box was my ring. Not only that, the inside of the box is LIGHTED, which shows off just how sparkly and amazing the ring really is.
WOW! WOW! WOW!!!!
My photos do not do this ring and it’s packaging justice. You have to see them in person to experience their beauty.
The light (as seen above) is a small LED light that turns on every time you open the box.
There is a mark in the center of the box (in the bottom photo). That is not a mark on the box – it’s the LED light.
Even the actual ring box is gorgeous. It’s hard (wood?) and shiny. It even has felt on the bottom of it so as not to scratch any surface it’s placed on. Anjolee really thought of everything.
I have fat, wrinkly, old lady hands. I was reluctant to take a photo with the ring on.
Truly, my photos do NOT do this ring justice. I can’t stop looking at it. It’s wonderful and exactly what I’ve always wanted.
The ring features three large “diamonds” – two the same size and the one in the middle a wee bit larger. Goes down the sides of the ring are smaller “diamonds.” You can see them in the photos (refer to the stock photo from Anjolee, pictured above).
The ring is stunning, and very well made. I have worn it many times and I haven’t lost a stone or had any thing go “wrong” with my ring. It’s just as beautiful as it was the first day I put it on my wrinkly old lady finger (ha ha).
I’m impressed by the quality of Anjolee’s jewelry. I’m also totally impressed by the packaging. What a wonderful presentation.
Interestingly enough, the prices on Anjolee’s website are not that bad. They might be out of my budget, but I think a lot of people can afford their pieces. I found gorgeous pieces for under $1,000.
If you are interested in checking Anjolee out for yourself, visit Anjolee.com. The brand can also be found across social media. All of their links are found on the bottom right of their website.
What do you think about Anjolee’s jewelry? Do you see a piece that you would love to own?
