Are you a tea drinker? Do you enjoy hot tea, ice tea or both?
I’m a long time tea drinker. I’ve been drinking tea since I was a young girl. My mom and grandparents were from the United Kingdom so we had tea time everyday.
As a young girl I always enjoyed ice tea too. My mom would buy the sugary sweet ice tea mix. I remember that I would use a few heaping spoonful’s per glass. Looking back on that now makes me cringe. That was A LOT of unnecessary sugar.
In my teen years I discovered that plain black tea made great iced tea too. I also learned to enjoy drinking ice tea without any sweetners. Since then all I drink is unsweetened iced tea. Occasionally I might add a squirt or two of lemon juice, but for the most part I drink unsweetened iced tea “as is”.
It’s not easy to find a great tasting unsweetened iced tea. That is why I tend to make my own. Most of the unsweetened iced tea I find in the store is not strong enough. They are weak and bland tasting. When I brew my own tea I like to make sure it brews just enough to have a flavorful tea taste but not too strong.
Sometimes I like to unwind and relax with a cold glass of iced tea and a snack. I typically opt for cheese and crackers or fruit. Sometimes I might splurge and have a couple of cookies, cupcake or a pastry.
I recently had the opportunity to try and award winning iced tea called Tejava. Tajava is the world’s only 100% all natural, microbrewed, ready to drink iced black tea. Best of all it’s unsweetened which means it’s calorie free too.
Tejava is made from handpicked tea leaves from the remote island of Java. I Googled it. The island is part of Indonesia. You would think an island named Java would export coffee. LOL.
Tejava is available in three convenient sizes: 1 liter glass bottles, 4-packs of 12 oz. glass bottles and 18oz PET bottles. Their bottles are also 100% recyclable.
Tejava is by far the best unsweetened black iced tea I have ever tried. It has a strong, flavorful tea flavor without being too strong or bitter. It’s very refreshing.
As I mentioned before I tend to make my own unsweetened iced black tea because other ready made ones just don’t have enough taste to them. They are weak. Tejava is perfectly brewed – as if I made it myself.
Now I have more options when it comes to a beverage to go along with my snacks, or just to sit back and relax with. After a hectic and crazy holiday season I can use a little R&R.
You can find Tejava at CVS stores nationwide. For additional locations, or to learn more about the brand, visit www.Tejava.com.
You can also learn more about Tejava and their favorite snack pairings on their Facebook page.
Do you like tea? What about iced tea? Do you prefer sweetened or unsweetened?

I like hot tea and iced tea depending on the weather. I drink green tea regularly, and it is unsweetened, but recently I got a box of Snapple K-cup sweetened Iced Tea with Lemon, so I have been drinking this and it is delicious. This Tejava sounds great, I just may give it a try. Thank you for this review.

I love iced tea. I’m a big fan of either the Crystal Light or Snapple iced teas, but this one sounds interesting.

Ha..you just made me recall that canister and all the grits of sugar that we would scoop up to make tea! I think,it was really flavored sugar, beciase I have yet to see tea in that form. I enjoy cold tea over warm tea. I have to seem this brand, but also wasn’t looking. Heading to grocery store today and could use something other than water to fill me up

I like the tea with this cupcake. Tea is so healthy and I do not like it with all the sweeteners. I like this brand of tea, and it sounds tasty. I will have to try it soon.

This sounds good. I have never heard of a iced tea being Micro Brewed. I like that it is unsweetened. That way you can add what you want to it.
