Bye Bye New York – Hello Hollywood!

I am been carrying around a secret with me for a couple of weeks. I was waiting for the right time to make a special announcement.

I’m going to Hollywood!

I’m not moving to California, I’m just going there for almost a week for a press junket, red carpet premiere, set visits and more.

Get ready for your head to spin because my trip is JAM PACKED with a lot of great stuff.

I’ll be gone from Sunday, March 9th until Thursday, March 14th. I actually won’t get home until around 2:00 AM on the 15th. I know what I’ll be doing all day on the 15th – SLEEPING!

So what will I be doing while I’m out on the West Coast? I don’t have my specific itinerary yet but this is a run down of what I’ll be doing along with 24 other bloggers.

Screening the film Muppets Most Wanted (in theaters March 21, 2014) and interviewing Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and other cast members and the filmmakers.

I have actually met Kermit and Miss Piggy in the past. They are my “besties”. LOL!

In addition we’ll be attending the red carpet premiere of the film. I’m excited to see what celebrities we’ll see also walking the red carpet with us.

You can follow Muppets Most Wanted on Facebook and Twitter.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough we’ll also get to screen the upcoming film Captain America: The Winter Soldier (in theaters April 4, 2014) as well as interview the cast and filmmakers. I hope we get to interview Chris Evans. Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford would be awesome too. I know some of the make bloggers are excited about maybe interviewing Scarlett Johansson. I can’t wait to see who we’ll get to interview.

You can check out the film’s official Facebook and Twitter pages too!

But wait! There is more!

We’ll also get to screen the upcoming DisneyNature film, Bears, which will be in theaters on April 18, 2014 as well as visit the LA Zoo to visit the bear exhibit. I love zoos! I can’t wait! I also love DisneyNature films.

To learn more visit the film’s Facebook page and DisneyNature on Twitter.

As an added bonus we’ll also screen the upcoming movie release of The Pirate Fairy which is a direct to Blu-ray/DVD movie featuring the beloved Disney Fairies.

This is all just with the first half of my trip with Disney. The second half of our trip we’ll be with ABC.

We will be touring the studio where both Grey’s Anatomy and General Hospital are taped and get to tour their sets. Our tour guide on the set of Grey’s Anatomy will be Jessica Capshaw who plays Dr. Arizona Robbins.

Following the set visits we are going to have a cocktail hour with both real moms and TV-moms from popular ABC shows and new ABC shows. That is going to be a lot of fun! I hope some of my favorites are there.

Later that day we’ll be screening a couple of TV shows including the second episode of the new series Resurrection and the two part wedding episode for the series Trophy Wife.

The next day (Thursday) we’ll visit the set of one of my favorite television shows The Middle. I LOVE The Middle! I reviewed the show (pilot episode) before it even aired. I’ve been a fan since day one. I try not to ever miss an episode. I love that it’s in syndication too.

We’ll be able to have a Q&A with the show’s creators and executive producers Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline. Additionally we’ll be able to meet and greet any cast members who are on set that day. I hope they are all there! I’ve met Atticus Shaffer before (“Brick”) at the Frankenweenie press junket. It will be great to meet the entire cast.

Lastly we’ll have a chance to view a special “junior” episode of the series Shark Tank featuring amazing kid entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to the “Sharks”.

Is your head spinning yet? Mine is. LOL! That is A LOT of fun stuff to pack into a few days.

I’ll be sharing my experiences and the interviews in a series of posts when I get back. You can also follow along with what the other bloggers going on the trip with me.
