Can you believe that it’s almost Easter? It seems like only yesterday we were unwrapping Christmas gifts and thinking up our New Year’s resolutions.
I miss my kids being young. Easter is one of those holidays that kids look forward to each year. I miss seeing the look on my kid’s faces when they would wake up Easter morning and find their baskets that the Easter Bunny brought for them.
My kids also enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs and Grandpa and Grandma’s house.
They no longer believe in the Easter bunny, but they still enjoy getting candy on Easter morning.
Jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and marshmallow-like treats are always yummy and a staple in every Easter basket, however there are more candy options available.
I recently learned about a brand of candy sold exclusively at Rite Aid stores across the country. The brand is called Dreamhouse. Are you familiar with the brand?
Dreamhouse is out to redefine scrumptious, with decadent and savory adventures in taste.
I have seen the brand in our local Rite Aid store, but up until now I have never purchased any of their candy. It’s not that I haven’t been tempted (I have been!) its just that I know me and I know that I can easily gobble up an entire package on my own.
Dreamhouse was kind enough to send me an assortment of their candies to try out for myself, as well as with my family. I was sent to review the following products;
Dreamhouse Double Dipped Milk Chocolate Raisins
These are not your normal raisins – these are jumbo raisins! I have never seen Chocolate Raisins so big. I truly enjoy the sweetness of the raisin with the creaminess of the chocolate.
Dreamhouse Double Dipped Milk Chocolate Peanuts
I love peanuts. I love chocolate. How can I not love double dipped chocolate peanuts.
Dreamhouse Double Dipped Milk Chocolate Almonds
These chocolate covered almonds are heavenly. They look a lot like the peanuts as far as shape and size but once you bite into them there is no denying that these are almonds. Yum! Yum!
Dreamhouse Milk Chocolate Pretzel Twists
We love – and I do mean LOVE – chocolate covered pretzels. It’s a family favorite. These Chocolate Pretzel Twists from Dreamhouse Candy are SO GOOD!!! They have the perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, crunch and creaminess.
Dreamhouse Vanilla Yogurt Flavored Pretzel Twists
I can tell you that my daughter loves these. I think she literally devoured an entire bag on her own (not in one sitting). I did get a chance to try a few and I can see why she loves them.
These don’t taste too much like yogurt. They taste more like they are covered in white chocolate. My husband doesn’t like yogurt and he tried these and never commented on them being covered in yogurt. I think he thought it was white chocolate.
Dreamhouse Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels
Words cannot describe just how delicious these are. I would have to say out of all of the Dreamhouse Candies I have tried so far, these are my favorites.
Caramels can be very sticky, so I would be careful eating these if you have lose fillings.
These are a very generous size, so one is more than enough to satisfy any sweet tooth.
The products all taste freshly made too. They don’t have that bland or waxy taste to them like some store bought candies do.
As you are putting together Easter baskets this holiday season, why not consider including some candies from Dreamhouse Candy? Something different would probably be a welcome surprise to the person who recieves the Easter basket.
These are also great for older children and adults. Set them out for guests to enjoy at your Easter dinner get together.
Dreamhouse offers more than just chocolate candies. They also offer jelly beans (an Easter staple), licorice, trail mix (including one called Apple Pie Trail Mix – that sounds yummy!), chocolate cookie dough mix, nuts, popcorn and even tea.
Each package comes with a generous amount of sweet treats and are “budget friendly.” Because they are surprisingly affordable you can enjoy a little indulgence every day with Dreamhouse.
Dreamhouse products are available in Rite Aid stores across the country. You can also purchase them online at RiteAid.com. You can also visit RiteAid.com to find a store location near you.
You can also find Rite Aid on social media. All of their links are found at the bottom of their website.
Have you ever tried any Dreamhouse candies? If so, do you have a favorite?
Which Dreamhouse product that I was sent to review would you like to try?
