Fun Muppet Recipe and 3D Cupcake Printables

If you are looking for super fun and adorable treat to serve your guests Thanksgiving, why not consider Kermit the Frog cupcakes, or cupcakes with 3D Muppet characters?

A couple of weeks ago, as part of my Muppet Monday series, I posted some cute Muppet theme recipes. You can check out the post here, http://www.shescribes.com/2011/10/muppetmonday-cute-muppet-recipes.html.

One of the recipe ideas I posted were sweet Kermit the Frog cupcakes. They are so easy to make. Even someone who is not “gifted” when it comes to baking can make these delightful cupcakes.

Now I have the recipe I can share with my readers. You will need to be able to open .PDF files. Most computers can do that but in case you need to download a reader you can go to Adobe.com (look for the free reader download).

To download and/or print out the recipe click on the link below.

If the idea of taking a bite out of Kermit the Frog’s face doesn’t appeal to you ( ha ha) you could always prepare your favorite cupcake recipe and then dress them up with 3D Muppet characters. I would recommend using card stock if you happen to have some (it’s a bit thicker then regular printer paper), however regular printer paper would work just as well.

The links for each printable is found below each image.

These were just too cute not to share.

Remember, the Muppet Movie comes to theaters on November 23, 2011 – the day before Thanksgiving. My family is planning on goin on opening day, providing that it’s not a mad house at the theater with everyone trying to see the movie.

You can learn more about the movie plus find fun activities and more at www.Disney.Go.com/Muppets. You can also follow them on Facebook, www.Facebook.com/Muppets.

  3. I’m not the best cook, but I can definitely make some decent cupcakes. I need to make a batch of Kermit cupcakes for my little cousin. He loves the green icon!!

  4. These are absolutely adorable! I am always afraid to use colored frosting after the horrifying photos of my son’s birthday where we all stood around with blue teeth looking like some sort of freak show! LOL
