If you are a long time reader of She Scribes you might recall that I am a big fan of Hellmann’s Mayonnaise. I grew up with Hellmann’s. It’s the only mayonnaise that my mother would buy. I honestly didn’t think were any others even close to Hellmann’s.
For a while I was even a brand ambassador for Hellmann’s. I was even with them when they achieved the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s longest picnic table. That was a fun day. I had to opportunity to meet Andy Cohen, host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens: Live. Actress Katie Holmes was there that day (I never saw her) as well as Chef Tim Love, Chef Mario Batali, Basketball player Paul Pierce (Brooklyn Nets), Chef Aaron Sanchez and several others.
There is so much you can do with Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, aside from spreading it on your sandwich or mixing with Tune, egg and potato salads.
Did you know you can bake with Hellmann’s too?
Here is a recipe for Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake. I have had chocolate cake made with Hellmann’s Mayonnaise and its incredibly moist and delicious.

I was sent the products to review. I am IN LOVE with the Roasted Garlic variety. Where has that been all my life! LOL! The Roasted Garlic variety takes your meals to a whole new level. It adds just the right amount of garlic to your sandwiches, deviled eggs, salads (egg, potato), tuna and even grilled cheese (replace butter with mayonnaise when you make grilled cheese – its so much better). My entire family enjoyed the Roasted Garlic Hellmann’s Organic Mayonnaise so much that the jar was gone in no time. We used it for a variety of meals.
The Spicy Chipotle has a bit of a “kick” to it. I’m not a fan of things that are too spicy. This is just a wee bit too spicy for my preferences. None the less I think using the Spicy Chipotle will make your deviled eggs something will talk about long after your gathering. I also think you can use this on Hellmann’s Parmesan Crusted Chicken recipe (you can find it on my site here).
The Original is just as good. I don’t notice too much of a drastic difference between original Hellmann’s Mayonnaise and the new Hellmann’s Organic Mayonnaise in original flavor.
I haven’t tried the new spreads yet, but I am looking forward to it.
Thank you Hellmann’s for the new products (especially the Hellmann’s Organic Mayonnaise in Roasted Garlic flavor). It’s nice to know that Hellmann’s continues to offer consumers quality, and flavorful, products.
