Now that summer is unofficially here, many people have turned their thoughts to all things tropical and sunny. Forget Ugg boots – hello flip flops. And who needs business attire when board shorts and tank tops are so much more comfortable.
I think it’s only natural – especially for those of us who don’t live in a warm climate year round – to think about all thing tropical when the temperature rises.
When the weather gets warmer me and my family tend to eat a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables. Citrus fruits and coconuts are fitting for warmer weather. I think that is why Chapstick created their seasonal flavor line inspired by the fruits of summer time. It’s their Tropical Paradise Collection.
This year the seasonal Tropical Paradise Collection flavors are;
- Key Lime
- Mango Surprise
- Aloha Coconut
ChapStick sent some to review, including their new flavor, Key Lime. In addition they sent me the ingredients to make Key Lime Cookies. Let me tell you, the cookies were AWESOME!
I love the Key Lime flavor. It has just the right amount of Lime flavor (just a kiss of it – no pun intended). I’m a big fan of limes to begin with, so this flavor is perfect for me. It smells nice too.
I also love the Aloha Coconut. I am the only one in my family who likes coconut. I don’t know why no one else does.
The Aloha Coconut has a sweet, coconut scent (very summer like!) and a mild coconut taste. Even if you are not a fan of coconut you should try this ChapStick. It’s coconut – but not overly coconut, if you know what I mean?
I am not a fan of mango, so I gave the Mango Surprise to my teen daughter. She tells me that it’s “good.” She’s a teen… I’m lucky to get anything from her. Ha Ha.
I think these flavors are perfect for the summer months. They are also limited edition flavors so they won’t be around forever. If you think you would like to try them out, or if you have already tried them and loved them, now is the time to stock up on them. You won’t want to miss your chance.
You could enjoy these year round. I’m sure applying the Aloha Coconut or Key Lime on your lips on a chilly winter day will bring back memories of the Summer of 2016 and all thing warm, sunny and tropical.
You can find these limited edition flavors were ever ChapStick products are sold.
For more information you can visit the ChapStick website at ChapStick.com. You can also follow the brand on social media. All of their links are found at the top of their website.
What do you think about the flavors? Have you tried them yet?
