As a mom I am concerned about the foods I bring home for my family. The more I hear about bad things like GMO, pesticides, artificial this and that… the more I’m afraid to make or eat anything. It’s hard to know what is good for you and what is not good for you these days.
I’m always on the look out for “better for you” products, from main dishes to snack foods and from desserts to beverages.
Not too long ago I was introduced to a line of crackers from Milton’s Craft Bakers. I have never heard of the brand so I decided to check out their website to learn more.
According to the Milton’s Craft Bakers website;
Our heritage began in 1995 with the opening of Milton’s Restaurant and Delicatessen in Del Mar, California offering wholesome and great tasting foods in the tradition of the great New York delicatessens. Milton’s founders continued their pursuit and passion by creating great tasting breads for their sandwich offerings. Our customers loved the bread so much that they wanted to take it home with them…thus began Milton’s Baking Company.
Since those days, we have continued to grow our line of delicious and nutritious breads and developed an assortment of flavorful crackers made with the same whole grains and goodness as our signature breads. We still take the extra time to bake each loaf and cracker with care, with nutritious ingredients and big flavor in every bite. Milton’s is obsessed with providing our customers with the only the best to support healthy living and happy taste buds.
They offer a lot of products including breads, crackers and even delicious entrées.
I was sent to review their entire line of snack crackers which are available in a variety of flavors sure to please everyone.
- Original Multi-Grain Baked Snack Crackers
- Blueberry Multi-Grain Baked Snack Crackers
- Honey Multi-Grain Baked Snack Crackers
- Chocolate Multi-Grain Baked Snack Crackers
- Honey & Corn Baked Snack Crackers
I just had to try the Blueberry cracker first. I love anything and everything blueberry.
The moment I opened up the package I could smell the blueberries. Mmm!!!! You can even see little bits of blueberries in the crackers.
On their own these crackers are sweet and full of flavor. You can certainly enjoy them “as is” or you can pair them up with your favorite topping. Personally I liked the Blueberry Multi-Grain Baked Snack Crackers on their own. I don’t need anything to go with them.
My next favorite was the Honey & Corn Baked Snack Crackers. The honey gives them just the right amount of sweetness. They taste just like corn muffins. I rarely ever have corn muffins. My mom used to make them often when I was a child. These crackers bring back memories of my youth and my mom’s corn muffins (she even used a pan that gave them a corn shape).
Oddly enough my least favorite was the Chocolate Multi-Grain Baked Snack Cracker. It was a bit too “grainy” and didn’t have much of a chocolate taste to it.
The crackers are small in size. You can top them with any kind of topping you can think of but keep in mind they are a bit smaller than traditional crackers.
My son really didn’t give me much of an opinion on what he thought of them. My 16 year old daughter on the other hand LOVES them. She loves all of the varieties and refers to them as “my crackers” when I go and grab a handful from any of the boxes. She even takes them to school with her to snack on. She puts a handful in a snack size baggie. Sometimes she even grabs a few for different boxes so that she has a variety.
On each box it tells you what percentage of the ingredients are organic. For example, on the Blueberry cracker box is stays 82% organic ingredients. On the Honey & Corn cracker box it says 92% organic. If you are really into organic products these percentages might come in handy.
Even their packaging is Earth friendly too.
In addition each box also has a handy QR code, which you can scan with your smartphone to find out more about the crackers and get delicious serving ideas.
Overall I like most of the crackers. I didn’t top them with any other ingredients. I just enjoyed them “as is” straight from the box.

Wow a Blueberry cracker. I have never heard of one. It sounds great! I know my husband would love those for sure. Plus I like that they are natural. I will have to see if I can find some. Thanks!

Blueberries are my favorite, so I think I’ll have to give these a try! I’ve got some wonderful white cheddar with bluberries that might go well with it…

I have heard of these crackers, but never tasted them. I would like to try the original and the chocolate, being the chocolate lover that I am.

Quite unusual flavors. I haven’t seen these but keep an out out for different snack foods. I’m so amazed at the name brands I find at the dollar stores like Nabisco, Glutino, Post. Ha, not expired either, just overstocks I suppose. Snacks are expensive, no? These do look good though.
