Robin Chocolates Mother’s Day Collections

Robin Chocolate Caramel

With Mother’s Day right around the corner chances are there are still some people who don’t know what to get that special lady in their life to celebrate the day.

Chocolate is a great “go-to” gift option for Mother’s Day. Most moms enjoy receiving a sweet treat on their special day. I for one would never turn down the gift of chocolate.

If you are looking for a quality chocolate to give as a gift consider the Mother’s Day collections from Robin Chocolates.

According to a press release about Robin Chocolate their quality creations are made by hand using only the finest ingredients that are GMO and additive free.

Robin Autorino and her company, Robin Chocolates, have been named one of the top ten chocolate makers in North America for 2013 by Dessert Professional, the leading trade publication for chocolate, pastry, baking and ice cream professionals.

According to Autorino, what sets Robin Chocolates apart from the competition is the quality of the chocolate they use, and the care and pride that go into her ingredients. All chocolates and confections are made by hand, using traditional, time-honored artisanal techniques. Autorino works with suppliers in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Venezuela that produce GMO-free cocoa powders and additive-free fruit purees and nut butters. Her suppliers also work directly with growers and cocoa plantation owners to ensure her ingredients are produced in a fair trade manner. Robin Chocolates’ creations are all-natural and use growth hormone-free dairy products and organic ingredients whenever possible.

Robin Chocolates Six Piece

Oh my! The Port Wine Reduction chocolate is out of this world! The sweet, rich flavor literally bursts into your mouth. I have tasted a lot of chocolates before but I have never had one as flavorful as the Port Wine Reduction.

Another favorite of mine is the Lavender. It’s one of those flavors that you don’t come across often, especially in a chocolate. It’s not as rich and strong flavored as the Port Wine Reduction but you can clearly taste the lavender in it.

I’ve also tried the Raspberry which was totally delicious. It tasted like fresh raspberries – it even smelled like berries too.

Each heart shaped piece is big enough for a bite or two. Just one is enough to satisfy you. Normally I could eat several boxes chocolates at one time but chocolates like this are meant to be savored and thoroughly enjoyed.

Robin Chocolates Chocolate Salted Caramel

I also received to review their Chocolate Covered Salt Caramels. These pieces are big and loaded with flavor. From the Valrhona chocolate to the Vanilla Salt Caramel to the sea salt sprinkled on top… these caramels are probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I like that the caramel was thick and rich and not ooey gooey and sticky like some caramels can be.

All of Robin Chocolates and confections are made by hand, using traditional, time-honored artisanal techniques. Robin’s creations are all-natural and use growth hormone-free dairy products and organic ingredients whenever possible.
