Sparkling Clean in 2013!

We made it through the holidays. Now we just have to look forward to the Spring. Most people are looking forward to the end of Winter and the return of green grass, blue skies and flowers. Not me. I mean, yeah. I look forward to those things too, but this year I’m looking forward to the possibility of selling our condo and hopefully buying a house. ūüôā

No one wants to look at a dirty house. I DO keep my home as clean as possible, but knowing that anyone could call for a visit at any time, I have resolved to be Sparking Clean in 2013.

My “game plan” is to make more time for cleaning. Ideally get a little bit done each day and do the big stuff (or deep cleaning) on the weekends when I can enlist the help of my hubby and my children.

To me, being Sparkling Clean in 2013 means no fingerprints or nose prints (from the dog) on the windows, no kitty litter foot prints trekking across the dining room, beds made when no one is sleeping in them and my stove top so shiny and clean that you need sunglasses to look at it. LOL.

In order to make my home as clean as it can be I need to find a better way to manage my time. One thing that I have to do that chips away at my time is cleaning the dishes. I loathe doing the dishes. Especially when no sooner do I do a sink full of dishes does the sink fill up again (my kids never wash their dishes. Ugh! Teenagers!). Usually once a day (mostly after dinner) I’ll toss the dishes, pots and pans into the dishwasher and rely on¬†Cascade Complete Pacs to clean my dishes the first time so I don’t have to wash them. Don’t you hate it when you wash dishes in the dishwasher, only to remove them to find that they have to be washed again because the dishwasher detergent didn’t clean them well enough? I have had that happen more times then I can count. When I think about the time I spend rinsing the dishes, loading the dishwasher, and the unloading it only to wash the dishes AGAIN, I can clearly see that it takes away from my time that I can be doing something else.

With Cascade Complete Pacs I don’t have to rinse (or pre-wash) the dishes. I just put them in the dishwasher, toss in a Cascade Complete Pac, turn it on and let Cascade work it’s magic. Best of all I don’t have to re-wash the dishes after they are done in the dishwasher. That saves me a little time that I can use towards other things like mopping the floor, vacuuming or even doing something fun like baking bread (the smell of fresh baked bread should appeal to some home buyers). Besides, if my home is going to be sparkling clean, why shouldn’t my dishes too?

If you are unfamiliar with Cascade Complete Pacs here is a little more information.

In 1953, Cascade entered the automatic dishwashing market with claims of ‚Äúspotless dishes‚ÄĚ to the 4% of households with dishwashers. This fast-moving world of household innovations was just in its beginning stages, and Cascade stayed at the forefront for the next 50 years by developing a range of automatic dishwashing products perfect for a variety of families, needs, and lifestyles. Today, with decades of experience and dishwashers in more than 60% of households, Cascade continues to grow, striving for immaculate dishes every time with its brilliant automatic dishwashing powders, gels, pacs, and additives.

Cascade Complete Pacs are just one of the many ways Cascade is helping us to have clean dishes every time we use our dishwasher. With Cascade Complete Pacs you are getting the best of both gel and powdered cleaners all in one convenient little pillow pac. There is no measuring required. You also don’t have to deal with the mess of spilling a liquid or powder all over the place (I have done that one too many times). With Cascade Complete Pacs there is no need to pre-wash your dishes because the formula is able to clean off stuck on foods and dissolve food particles, even on foods that has been stick on the dish for 24 hours.

Some Cascade Complete Pacs even come in refreshing scents like Mediterranean Lavender and Thai Dragon Fruit scents. I haven’t tried them yet but I’m going to keep an eye out for them.¬†Also available are¬†Fresh, Lemon Burst, and Citrus Breeze scents.
