It’s getting “down to the wire” now. Hanukkah has already begun and Christmas is two weeks away! It’s time to finish up shopping for everyone on your holiday list, unless of course you are the type of person who enjoys the thrill of waiting to the very last possible moment?

If you are looking for a little inspiration for those hard to buy for friends and family members, why not check out the new Lands End stress-free shopping solution – their online holiday gift shops!

I enjoyed doing some holiday shopping at Lands End. I found exactly what I was looking for under the Holiday Surprises gift page. I was looking for the Sea Salt Caramel Candy. I had some last year and LOVED them (they are so good!). I wanted to get them again this year for a hostess gift as well as the serve to my family after Christmas day dinner.

They taste as good as they look! They are large caramels, dipped in chocolate and topped with a sprinkling of sea salt. The salt really balances out the sweetness of the caramel and chocolate.

What I love about these caramels is that one is more than enough. I could easily eat the entire tin in a matter of minutes (they are THAT good) but one or two is more than enough to satisfy most people.

They taste freshly made too. They don’t taste like they were made years ago and sitting in a warehouse all this time. These are soft and chewy as if they were made to order especially for me.

I picked up another “goodie” from the Holiday Surprises gift shop at Lands End. It’s the Hammond’s Candy All Natural Mint Sticks in a Glass Jar. The reusable jar is filled with handmade peppermint sticks. They are also made with all natural ingredients.

I originally picked the jar up as a gift for someone else, but I neglected to tell my kids that. So when they saw the jar of peppermint sticks they assumed it was for them to enjoy so they opened it, and let’s just say they have been enjoying them ever since. 🙂

The mint sticks have the old fashion peppermint candy taste and appeal to them. They are not like the mass produced candy canes that you buy to hang on your trees. These are a bit more “gourmet” simply by how they taste. They are REALLY good. They make excellent additions to hot cocoa too.

For only $11 for the jar they would make a great “thank you” gift for the mailman, your delivery man, favorite bank teller, hairdresser or just about anyone you want to give an inexpensive, but thoughtful gift to.

To check out all the gift shops on Lands End’s website visit www.LandsEnd.com. On the top task bar you’ll see a tap for “Gifts”. Put your cursor over it so you see the drop down menu. From there you can see the different holiday shops that are mentioned above.

You can also find Lands End on Facebook and Twitter.

Happy Shopping!
