KidsExclusive.com – Discounted children’s fashions

I’m all for saving a few dollars here and there. Living on a tight budget we have to watch our nickles and dimes. Whenever I can shop for my family and save money I feel great.

We have a lot of nieces and nephews, as well as friends with young children. There is always a birthday party to attend and presents to buy. When it comes to gifts I always try and find items that look expensive, but really aren’t. No one needs to know that I picked up something on sale or clearance. As long as they get a beautiful gift that is all that should matter.

There is a new mom-friendly deal site that features discount boutique quality fashions for both boys and girls, aged newborn to 9 years old. It’s called KidsExclusive.com.

What makes KidsExclusive.com special you might ask? Well for starters they offer one, low shipping fee. Shipping can really be expensive when ordering online. I like knowing that I have one, low shipping fee rather than trying to guess what shipping would be or limit my purchases so as not to have a heavy package to ship (the heavier the package usually the more it costs to ship).

KidsExclusive.com appears to have much better deals than similar sites. They also allow you to return the items for a store credit.

Another thing I like about KidsExclusive.com is that they ship quickly. Other deal sites take forever to ship products, sometimes as long as 3-4 weeks! With KidsExclusive you can expect your items to ship to you with 5 business days (plus delivery time). I recently placed and order and I had my package delivered to me within about a week.

My recent shopping experience at KidsExclusive.com was a huge success. I was able to pick up A LOT of items for $100.00. Eleven items in total. Not bad for $100.

KidsExclusive.com has a great clearance section where you can find items for $10.00 or less. I shopped the clearance section and I was able to find some lovely pieces for our friends little girl and for another little girl we know whose parents don’t have much money. It feels good that I was able to get her beautiful clothing and it didn’t cost a lot and reap havoc on our budget.

Here are a few of the items I picked up. All of them were UNDER $10.00. :-)

I picked up eleven pieces in total for around $100.00 (some were only $7). Each piece is just as lovely in person as it is in the photos. Some of them are very soft and snugly too, perfect for a chilly day.

Each day KidsExclusive.com had new sales. Today’s sale features this beautiful pink princess-like dress from the designer Isabella & Chloe for only $19.90 (regularly $44).

You can even get a peek at upcoming sales so that you can plan accordingly.

Many designer brands are featured on KidsExclusive.com including One Kid, LA Made, Alphabet, IT Jeans, Me Too American, Lucky Jade and One 90 One.

KidsExclusive.com has wonderful clothing for both girls AND boys.

I love their baby items too!

You can even earn a $20.00 KidsExclusive.com for every person you refer to the site too. For example, if you refer your sister and she places her first order, YOU will receive a $20 credit. If you refer 5 people and each of them places and order you will receive a $100 store credit. With beautiful, quality clothing at great prices it shouldn’t be hard to find people who would love to purchase from KidsExclusive.com.

ModParent – Modern and Trendy Baby Products

I miss the days when my kids were babies. My babies are now a ‘tween and a teen. Since I can’t have anymore children (I’m too old) I will have to wait to be a grandmother some day.

I still love to look at baby products. I don’t think I can walk past an aisle of baby clothes and not stop and “oooh” and  “ahhh” looking at them.

I am truly amazed at just how much things have changed, even since my son, who is 12, was a baby. Infant products have gone so “hi-tech”. Some actually have a sci-fi look to them. To show you what I mean check out this newborn cradle that I found at ModParent.com.

That is a seriously cool looking cradle. I don’t know if I would have purchased it for my kids (I would have worried about the dog knocking it over). I wouold probably stick to the bassinet that my kids had. Still I think this infant cradle is pretty cool looking.

After I saw that infant cradle I was curious to see what other modern, trendy and chic baby products ModParent offered.

One of the first things I noticed are the car seats. WOW! They look to be a million times better then the ones my kids had when they were little. I wish they had such safe and secure car seats 10+ years ago.

Check out the Britax Frontier 85 carseat.

The car seat has CUP HOLDERS! Wow!

I love that it’s available in different colors, even different patterns including hot pink and a cow pattern.

When my son was little they were just starting the five-point harness car seats. They are certainly a lot more protective then the non-harness ones.

Another carseat that caught my eye was the Britax Marathon 70. The reason why is because when my son was born he was 9 weeks premature. When he left the hospital after 33 days he was only 4 pounds, 2 ounces and around 14″ long. He was totally lost in the car seat. We had to pad all around him with receiving blankets. It made me so nervous that he wasn’t protective enough, or that he wasn’t comfortable.

What I like about the Britax Marathon 70 carseat is that it looks perfect for an infant. I love how it’s reclined just enough and it looks well padded all the way around. It even has the five-point harness. I wish I had this one for our son.

What I liked about ModParent is that they not only showcase some really amazing looking products but they also give you the prices for the products from various retailers so you can shop around for the best price.

Takes for example the above carseat. ModParent has the prices of this very same carseat from five different retailers. Amazon carries it for the least expensive price ($217.49) where as a store name Ivy League Tots sells it for the most expensive price ($246.99). That is a  $29.50 savings.

ModParent has products from well name brands including Bloom, Ergo Baby, Evenflo, Ju Ju Be and Snugli to name a few.

For the entire month of October ModParent will be donating 50% of their profits to help feed hungry children. That is half of their profits. Wow! How often do you see a company do something like that? You can find out more about their charitable efforts by visiting their website and clicking on the top right corner.

If you are looking for baby products, whether it’s for yourself or for a gift, why not make MoParent your first stop. Not only will you be getting modern products but you will also be helping out hungry children.

Enter to Win a FREE Baby Crib from Inspired Nursery. Hurry! Today is the LAST DAY!

I just found out about a contest that I think some of my readers might be interested in. Inspired Nursery (www.InspiredNursery.com) is having a special contest on their Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/InspiredNursery).

If Inspired Nursery can get 1,500 “likes” on their Facebook page they will give away a beautiful CoCaLo baby bedding set and a Serta Crib Mattress. If they can reach 2,000 fans they will give a lucky fan a brand new crib from the Babi Italia collection. Right now they are at 1,488 “likes”. I’m sure they can easily hit 2,000 with your help. Be sure to spread the word with family, friends and those you network with.

All you have to do to enter is simply “like” their Facebook page. You can’t get any easier then that. :-)

I was checking out some of the product lines that Inspired Nursery works with. One of them is Bonavita (www.Bonavita.com). Oh my! I wish they had crib sets like this when my children were babies. I absolutely love the convertible crib sets. Those are the ones that go from a crib, to a toddler bed and eventually they turn into a full size grown up bed. You just need the one bed set to take your child from infancy to adulthood. Talk about getting your moneys worth.

I love the Sheffield Lifestyle Crib. It’s so pretty! I love the additional matching pieces you can purchase with it too.

They have lifestyle sets ideal for girls, boys and unisex.

Another company is Babi Italia (www.BabiItalia.com). Oh my! Check out this beautiful Glider Cradle.

I REALLY could have used this for our son when he was an infant. He had the worst colic in the world and constantly had to be kept moving or he’d scream his head off. This went on every day from around 5:00 PM to approximately 1:00 AM for around 4-5 months. It was a nightmare. If we had a Glider Cradle I bet it would have helped us out a lot. It would be much easier to gently push the cradle back and forth compared to walking around our home bouncing him up and down. I have never seen, or even heard of a Glider Cradle before. I had a Glider Chair when my daughter was an infant. They are really nice.

Check out www.Facebook.com/InspiredNursey and “like” their page for a chance to win a beautiful crib.
