I know personally that it’s not always easy to come up with a gift idea for everyone on your holiday shopping list. Besides, there are just so many bottles of perfume or candles you can give someone. Sometimes you just want something fun and unique – something the gift receiver would never think of. I especially love to give fun gifts, as well as gifts that can be enjoyed all year long.
Do you have anyone on your holiday shopping list that enjoys playing online games, especially those where you can interact with others? If so, what about giving the gift of Tail Towns Friends?
I reviewed the game a while back. If you would like to see my review you can find it here, http://bit.ly/R8L4cD (I shortened the link).
If you are unfamiliar with the game here is a little more information.
Ganz, creator of Webkinz® pets and Webkinz World™, the first web-enabled toy and kids’ virtual world, introduces Tail Towns Friends ™, a groundbreaking hybrid Facebook game and gift collection for women.
The Tail Towns Friends virtual world invites women to indulge in a whirlwind of drama, intrigue, treachery and forbidden love – enacted by a cast of mice and other furry critters, and as players become more involved in the game, the characters’ juicy stories start to unfold.
To set the scene: players are encouraged to build and expand their land with gorgeous gardens and landscapes, aiming to grow their businesses, by distributing goods to the townspeople by harvesting. All while working toward goals set by the game’s cast of woodland characters.
Unlike other game, Tail Town Friends likes to offer players a unique total gaming experience by making available Tail Town Friends figurines. Not only are they adorable but they are also very well made. These would be fun for someone who also likes to collect cute animal figurines, or even mouse figurines.
Each custom designed collectible figurine is fully hand painted and very well crafted.
The idea behind the Tail Towns Friends is to bridge the real world with the virtual world.
After you purchase your Tail Towns Friends figurine you can go online and register it. When you register your figurine you can unlock the character’s exclusive storyline and “Secret Diary Goals” which help to give players insight into the life of the figurine character.
As a bonus, each figurine rewards users with an exclusive specialty virtual item as well.
The more figurines you collect and register the more fun things you can unlock on the Tail Towns Friends games and the more “goodies” you can add to your virtual collection.
Here’s how to bring your figurine to life:
- Inside the figurine packaging you will find a Secret Code Card containing a 16 digit code that is unique to your Tail Towns Figurine.
- At the top of your game window find the Figurine Collection button located on the right side of the game, click to pop-up the Figurine Collection.
- At the bottom of the Figurine Collection window is a text box where you can type in your 16 digit Secret Code. Carefully type in your code, the click the Register button.
- You will see a confirmation pop-up informing you that you have successfully registered your Figurine. Click OK to close this pop-up.
- You will find a new Goal on the left side of your game screen that will start your unique Figurine storyline. Enjoy!
You can find the Tail Towns Friends figurines both online and at local specialty retailers. If you would like to find a store near you visit the Tail Towns Friends store locator, http://TailTowns.GanzWorld.com/Store-Locator.

I think that the Tail Towns Friends figurines would make a great gift because it’s like two gifts in one. Not only do you get an adorable collectible figurine, but you also get to unlock a lot of fun things on the Tail Towns Friends online virtual world game.
I love how each figurine is dressed up in the outfit of the character on the game.
Check out my figures – Ms. Paige Turner and Fashion Designer. They are just like their characters on the Tail Towns Friends Game.
You can see the secret code card (front and back) as well (I blocked out my code – I used it but I don’t know if it can be reused).
Each figurine is approximately 2.75″ tall and is made with a hard plastic. I would not recommend these for very young children because they could break a piece off and accidentally swallow it.
I think these could make a nice “dual” present too. The grown up can use the codes to unlock the goodies on the game and a child could have the figurines to play with and make up their own Tail Towns Friends adventures.
I have to admit that they are super adorable. I love the the Holiday Cookie Mouse. I really want to get that one because I am curious to see what the code for that one unlocks on the game site, plus I think he/she is really cute and would make a cute holiday decoration that we can enjoy for years to come. I love to decorate all areas of my home. I love to add little figurines on the bookcases, kitchen shelves and all around the house.
Some people might think that these figurines are more for kids. That is not the case. Tail Towns Friends is a Facebook game, so you need to be 13 or older to be on Facebook. Also, the story lines and tasks are not as simple as you might think. They are certainly geared more towards teens and adults.
Why would an adult want to play a game where the main characters are mice, rabbits and other woodland creatures? Because it’s fun, challenging and a cool way to connect with your Facebook friends who play the game too. 🙂 I must warn you though, the game can be addicting. I play almost every day, even if it’s only for 10 minutes here or 15 minutes there. I have heard of others who can play for hours.
If you are looking for a unique gift idea or stocking stuffer, why not pick up a few Tail Towns Friends figurines (and maybe a couple for yourself too!).

I know I wouldn’t mind getting a TTF Figure for Christmas! My MIL doesn’t know what to get me so I’ll tell her to get me a few of them! Love the limited edition one!
