A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Win $7,000 a Week for Life from Publishers Clearing House. I wanted to let readers know that there was still time to enter.

My husband and I both don’t “need” money to be happy. We always try to live within our means, however every now and then “life” happens and we find that we need money. It never fails that things seem to happen all around the same time.

If we won $7,000 a week for life we would certainly pay off our condo and buy a house. We would also buy two new cars for ourselves and a used car for our 16 year old daughter (we’ll wait until she is off to college to get her a new car). We would also take a vacation to Disney World and all the area attractions. I know my husband would love to go to California (he’s always wanted to visit there) and I would love to take my family to the United Kingdom to visit my relatives.

We are fortunate that we don’t have any bills except our mortgage, utilities and one car payment. Right now we could use the money because two of my cats need to go back to the vet. Our diabetic cat might require more insulin and he has a cyst under his chin that burst again (blood everywhere!). Our asthmatic cat is not responding to her inhalers and needs to see a specialist in another state. On top of that I have to pay for my root canal, my hubby needs a mouth piece for his TMJ (“lock jaw”), my daughter needs new retainers and the bar that is glued behind four of her teeth (she has short roots) is coming lose AND our son needs braces. Ka-ching! Ka-ching! Ka-ching!

Knowing that we need a lot of money is stressful, as I’m sure most people can relate to. That is why we’re going to enter the $7,000 a week for life contest. It would be such a huge relief not to have financial worries and be able to take our pets to the vet when they need to go and pay for medical expenses when we have them. It would also be great to take our family on REAL vacations (not just local destinations) and FINALLY move out of our shoe box sized condo into a house.

We would probably end up donating most of it to our favorite charities and setting aside $$$ for relatives to help cover college expenses for their children.

Did you know that Publishers Clearing House has awarded over $246 MILLION in prizes to date. That is A LOT of prizes! Even if you don’t win the $7,000 a week for life you can still win other prizes.

Have you entered yet? Do you plan on entering?

What would YOU do if you won $7,000 a week for life? Feel free to comment and tell me about it.

  1. If I won $7000 a week for life the first thing I would do is move away from here. Our landlords are not the most honest people, far from it. The best thing to do would be to get far far away from them.
