2. High-Intensity Interval Training
This is one of the most sought-after and widely practiced forms of exercise. It’s based around short bursts of energy followed by longer rest periods. Working out this way doesn’t let your body get too comfortable which can happen in distance running or other long forms of exercise where you keep up a similar pace for an extended amount of time. Instead, this workout engages your body in intense work-out mode for a short period of time which allows you to burn more calories. People usually start getting results faster with HIIT.
3. Jump Rope
This can bring you back to your childhood while giving you a great workout, too. Jumping rope can burn 600-800 calories an hour which is huge! It is a lower intensity workout on your body but still engages your arms, legs and cardiovascular ability. It’s a good workout to add to a circuit training or HIIT routine.
