I LOVE being a blogger. It has afforded me wonderful opportunities, plus I’ve had great experiences and have made life-long friends.
Being a review blogger, I have had the opportunity to review a lot of products from brands I might not otherwise learn about. There is so many great products out there that most people will never know about. That’s sad.
As a blogger, I have fell in love with many of the products sent to me to review. So much so that I purchase many of them long after my review is over. Some have become personal favorites of mine.
Some products I get to review I love, some not so much. Some are typical products (lotions, creams, washes…) and others are downright weird. Such is the case with the LED Facial Rejuvenation Mask from Sculpt Skin Bar. This product is crazy looking. But does it work? Let’s see.
When I first laid eyes on this product in an email I receive, I thought it was really strange looking. When it I received a sample of this product to review, I thought it was the craziness thing I have ever seen.
Here is some additional information;
A simplified beauty routine is music to most ears. Sculpt Skin Bar has taken this philosophy and designed the must-have gift for beauty lovers this holiday season. It’s a great way to get revitalized for the new year!
The LED Facial Rejuvenation Mask is the perfect holiday gift for women into skincare and looking to add the latest technology that helps with their at-home regime. Sculpt Skin Bar conveniently lets them do this without breaking the bank!
LED is a non-invasive treatment that works by using an array of bright light-emitting diodes that send low-level light energy into the deeper layers of the skin.
The brand elevates skincare with a spa-like experience that’s easy to use. Created by sisters and beauty aficionados Caroline and Katrina, the duo is passionate about helping others feel and look their best. Their Bar has launched with the mask and plans are to add more items to the menu soon.
The mask looks like something out of a horror movie. LOL! I think it’s even creepier looking in person. It looks like something out a Saw horror movie where someone is forced to wear a device that will electrocute them to death. Ha Ha.
Needless to say my family gave me very concerned looks when they saw me wearing this. My daughter was even a wee bit freaked out.
Can this weird looking device make my skin look better?
“This LED mask changed my life! I was struggling with acne and couldn’t find anything that would help. Ever since I started using this LED mask four times a week, it has cleared up my skin and reduced redness. My acne went away significantly. I feel confident in my own skin again.” – Alyssa L. (customer testimonial).
According to the brand, the LED Light Therapy Mask has the following key benefits.
- Boosts radiance and revitalizes the skin.
- Improves skin complexion and texture.
- Kills acne-causing bacteria and diminishes mild to moderate acne.
- Boosts collagen and restores the elasticity.
- Reduces appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and spots.
- Soothes inflammation and reduces redness.
- Strengthens skin’s natural barrier and supports barrier repair.
To use the mask, place it over clean, dry skin.
There are different LED lights which perform different functions. The different colors penetrate the skin, addressing your specific needs. For example, I use the green LED lights the most. Green helps to bright the skin and even out skin tone. I use the white light a lot too because it’s suppose to give you a healthy looking glow.
This mask is great for people with acne and acne scars too. There are different LED colors that address specific issues with acne sufferers. My daughter has acne scars, and she’s been meaning to try out the mask too in order to see if it helps her complexation (she hasn’t had a chance to yet).
The mask comes with a controller that you can adjust the amount of time you want to use the mask (up to 30 minutes) as well as the intensity (1-10, ten being the strongest).
Simply put the mask on your face (it can be adjusted to fit you just right), set the LED color, intensity and time, then sit back and relax.
The mask has eye holes you can see out of, so you can wear this while relaxing on the couch reading or watching television. You can even sit and have conversations with friends and family, if you can look past the strange looks they give YOU and the giggling (this mask looks so strange!).
My daughter commented that I look like a character from Netflix’s popular series, Squid Games. LOL!
The mask comes in a nicely made box, as well as a silk (or satin?) bag to keep it in.
I was worried that the LED lights would be too bright and effect how well I saw. That was not the case at all. You can’t even tell what lights are being used while wearing this. You can see the LED lights from the side of the mask.
I normally get redness on my cheek area (one doctor suspected Rosacea, but I’m not 100% sure it’s that). Since using this mask (I try to at least three times per week) I haven’t noticed much of the redness on my cheeks like I normally do. I’m not sure if this mask is the reason why, or something else.
I haven’t noticed any difference as far as wrinkles are concerned. I honestly don’t think products can really help with wrinkles. I think the only real option is surgery, which I am not going to do.
I think my face does look a little brighter. Normally this time of year my skin looks really dull and drab. I think this mask is helping make my face look healthier. I truly think that my skin looks a lot better.
I’ve had this mask for a few weeks, and I mostly stick to the two colors. However, I want to try out all of the colors, just so I can find the best one for me. I think by limiting myself to the two colors I am missing out on the benefits the other colors could provide me.
The LED Facial Rejuvenation Mask from Sculpt Skin bar would make a great gift (even though the recipient will give you some strange looks at first). This is also great for you to use year round.
