Can you believe that Christmas is a little over a month away? Yikes! I have A LOT of holiday shopping I need to get done. My kids want gift cards again this year (boring!) and I already have a few things for my husband. What I need is some gifts for my co-workers and a few others, like the nice man that cleans our condo buildings.
I was hoping I could get some friends or other co-workers in on a “Secret Santa” gift exchange, but no one was interested this year. I’m sure the pandemic has a lot do to with that, as well as the shortage of a lot of goods.
If you are in need of a gift for a co-worker, friend, “Secret Santa,” or a little gift for your favorite hairdresser or manicurist, I have a sweet gift idea for you – Adiago Teas’ 12 Teas of Christmas.
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… the most festive and delicious gift of tea! This holiday season give the gift that keeps on giving: our 12 Days of Christmas Gift Set! This jolly collection contains a selection of our most festive blends, one for each of the 12 Days of Christmas. The reusable tins line up to create a fun scene and can hang as ornaments until ready to be brewed. Each tin contains one single serving pouch of loose tea.
The teas come in a box, making it very easy to gift wrap (I can’t wrap anything that is not a rectangle – ha ha).
Inside the box you’ll find 12 small tins. Placed together in the box, they form a lovely and serene scene of deer in the woods surrounded by pine trees.
Each tin has the words from the 12 Days of Christmas song, such as Four Calling Birds, Three French Hens, Two Turtle Doves… The tins feature images pertaining to the song, as well as a green ribbon. Once you have enjoyed the tea inside the tin, the tin can be hung on the tree as an ornament. In a way, it’s like two gifts in one – yummy tea and Christmas ornaments.
The teas featured in this gift box include:
White Pear, Rooibos Peacan Turtle, Lavender Lemon, Candy Cane, Golden Monkey, Jasmine Pheonix Pearls, Blue Mango, Cream, Cha Cha, Earl Grey Bravo, Fruit Medley, and Rooibos Nutcracker.
Each tea bag is individually wrapped inside the tins to keep it fresh.
My husband suggested that the tins could be re-purposed to hold gift cards too. I haven’t tried putting a debit card inside one (yet), but they appear to be the right size to hold a gift card.
I received a box set to review. I know the teas are for the 12 Days of Christmas, but I couldn’t help by try them.
There is a list inside the box that tells you about each flavor and what day’s tin it’s in. I didn’t want to look at it. I like being surprised.
The firs tea I took out happened to be candy cane, which is the flavor I really wanted to try. Mmm! I love it. I love minty teas, and this tea has just the right amount of peppermint to give you that mint experience without there being too much mint (overkill). This tea had the perfect amount of mint.
Another flavor I tried was Cha Cha, which happened to be another minty tea (yeah!). It also has chamomile and lemongrass flavors. It’s not as minty as the candy cane tea, but there is still a touch of mint in this tea too. I tasted more of the lemongrass, which is fine because I enjoy lemon in my tea too. It’s a perfect balance between the three flavors.
This gift set retails for $24 on their website, making it a budget friendly gift idea.
If you are interested in this set, I wouldn’t wait long to order it. I’m sure it will sell out fast.
