Has school started back in session where you live? I know that some parts of the country start back in August. The school I work at doesn’t start until after Labor Day. I have less than a month left of my summer vacation.
Even though I am on “vacation,” I haven’t really stopped thinking about my job. Even my husband can testify to that. Whenever I talk to him about an idea I have, or I show him an arts and crafts project I found on Pinterest, he always yells at me (NOT in a mean way but in a joking manner) to “STOP THINKING ABOUT WORK!” But he knows me. He knows that my mind is often focused on it.
I have a few ideas floating around in my head. One idea was to decorate our little corner of the cafeteria where we have our program. I have some holiday and seasonal decorations made out of cardstock that I plan on using. I even have some cute garland I can hang on our rolling cabinet.
This year I have something I am going t put up on the walls in our area. They are motivational and inspirational posters from the Flora Maria Shop.
These beautiful posters come in a set of 22 posters. Each poster is printed on both sides. One side is in color (very colorful too) and the other side is in black and white for a more simplistic look.
I was sent these posters to review. I was pleasantly surprised at how big they are. The posters each measure 12 x 17.5 inches. They are a perfect size. They are big enough to read from a distance, but small enough as to not take up too much room on a wall.
I was thinking about finding a frame for the posters too. I was thinking about hanging them up by my desk as well. I just need to search for the right size frame.
The posters are printed on high quality cardstock and laminated with a matte finish.
If you are concerned about the posters tearing when you remove them from a wall, I think that would be difficult to do. These posters can bend and move with no tearing at all. I wasn’t going to try and tear one myself, but you can tell by the quality of the paper that it would take something really strong to tear it.
There are so many wonderful sayings on these posters. Here are just a few examples.

Every mistake you make is progress.
Your future depends on what you do today.
Be the change you want to see in this world.
Admittedly, some of these quotes might be difficult for my younger students to understand, but that is okay. With so many posters to choose from, I like I can find the perfect ones for my “work kids” to appreciate.
Even though the black and white side looks lovely, I am going to use the colorful sides. I love how colorful they are. They are so pretty!
The brand does have some posters geared more towards children. I am going to purchase those from the shop at some point. They have other posters as well, including ones that would be the perfect addition to a home gym or weight room.
These posters would be great for an office (or home office) and around your home. They are not just for classrooms. They are for anyone, anywhere, who needs a bit of motivation and inspiration in their day.
