As a mom and a wife, I am used to sticking to a budget to make ends meet. Whenever possible, I will always opt for a more affordable product or a brand name product. Meaning I’ll often purchase store brand products over brand name products. That is not to say that all brand name products are not affordable and “budget friendly.” Many are. Take for example the brand Soapbox. Are YOU familiar with the brand?
I’m familiar with the brand because I reviewed a couple of their products back in 2016. If you are interested, you can read that review here – Give Hope to Those in Need with Soapbox Soaps.
Soapbox products! Soapbox is a wonderful, socially-conscious, vegan, cruelty-free and phthalate-free hair and body care company that donates a bar for soap to communities in need for every product sold. And all of the soaps, body washes, shampoos and conditioners smell lovely too.
Thanks to its customers, Soapbox has donated more than 20 million bars of soap around the world! These donations are often paired with proper hygiene education, which is more important now than ever as we battle a global pandemic.
The brand just released several new foaming hand soaps, body washes and body lotions. I was sent some to try out for myself.
Watermelon and Basil Foaming Handsoap (4.99) *NEW
Have summertime vibes all year long with this watermelon and basil-infused hand soap that replenishes as it cleanses. Straight from the garden, fresh, juicy watermelon and herbal-sweet basil extracts provide antioxidant-rich goodness to your hands that not only deeply cleanses but also helps improve the elasticity of your skin.
I honestly didn’t think that watermelon and basil would smell nice together. It seemed like an odd pairing, however, they smell divine together. Mmm…this soap smells yummy. It’s the perfect hand soap for the summer (and beyond).
This is a nice soap that goes on well, and rinses off without any residue. I find the soap refreshing and non-drying.
Oat Milk & Chai Comforting Moisture Body Wash ($8.99) *NEW
Unwind and add some calmness and zen back into your routine. Hectic day? We totally get it. Soothing oat milk, rich almond oil and calming chai come together to give your skin a break from it all. Irritated skin is comforted with this blend of creamy ingredients that offer anti-inflammatory properties and silky hydration. Infused with shea butter and aloe vera, your body will be relaxed and nourished every time you reach for this bottle.
This body wash is lovely. It goes on well and rinses off completely with no residue.
I appreciate the shea butter and aloe vera. It adds moisture to my really dry skin. I find it very soothing. This is a great product for the summer, especially if you want to expose your arms and legs (shorts and tanks) and you don’t want your skin to look dry or ruddy.
When I use this product, I feel like I’m at a spa. This is a spa-quality body wash.
This product also has a subtle scent that is nice too.
Bamboo & Green Tea Glowing Moisture Lotion ($8.99) *NEW
Infused with brightening vitamin C and healing jojoba oil, this lotion is serving up radiance-boosting looks and locked-in hydration. Refreshing bamboo, revitalizing green tea and relieving jojoba oil are blended with our 4X nourishing base of shea butter, aloe, vitamin E and olive oil to help your skin maintain precious moisture. Vitamin C is then infused in the lotion to give your skin a natural glow that looks like it’s beaming from within.
This product is a “must have” if you ask me. I LOVE this moisturizer, and I use it daily. I especially use it on my legs after I shave. I find it very soothing and calming after I shave my legs.
This product provides you with great moisturizing ingredients that leave your skin feeling oh-so-good!
I honestly cannot comment on any kind of a “natural glow.” I have not noticed anything like that, but that is fine with me. I think clean, moisturized skin has it’s own glow.
My family uses this product too, including my husband and my son. They rub it on their arms, elbows and even their hands. I just keep the bottle on the counter in the bathroom.
Cleanse & Purify Tea Tree Oil Bundle ($43.96)
This bundle is the perfect solution for removing buildup on your hair and scalp. Our deeply cleansing Tea Tree Clean and Purify Shampoo, Conditioner, Scalp Treatment and Soothing Hydration Hair Mask will purify, calm and moisturize your tresses, making you feel like a new person.
Where has this product been all my life? I NEED this product in my life!
My scalp gets itchy due to eczema. I hate that because it often leaves little flakes in my hair that are not from dandruff, but more so the eczema.
I use other products to sooth the itchiness of the eczema, but I hate putting chemicals on my scalp.
This product has really helped to sooth the itchiness. It’s been a Godsend.
In addition to helping to sooth my scalp, it does remove residue from your hair/scalp. I used to use one part vinegar/two parts water to remove residue from my hair, but it left me smelling like vinegar (gross!). This product does the same thing, and it’s not as harsh as the vinegar.
I also received to review Argan Oil Control and Soften Shampoo and Conditioner.
I have thick, wavy hair. Often, shampoos and conditioners weigh my hair down, and my wavy hair comes off as flat and/or frizzy. My hair is especially prone to being frizzy right now due to humidity and the fact that I am in dire need of a hair cut.
These products work get together. You can use them individually with other products, but if you want the maximum benefits, you should use them together.
I was concerned that the Argan oil would weigh my hair down or make it look or feel greasy. That was not the case at all. In fact. my hair feels really good and very soft. Even my waves look great.
My adult daughter has SUPER thick hair, and this worked great in her hair too.
This shampoo and condition smells really nice too. It has an “exotic” scent to it (at least that is how it appears to me).
