Do you suffer from allergies?
Growing up I never had any allergies, or at least anything I knew about. I do have a serious allergic reaction to sulfur, but that is not the type of allergy I am referring to. I am talking about seasonal allergies – the kind that make you sneeze, cough, runny nose, watery eyes…
When my kids were little they had a really bad allergy to tree pollen. It didn’t help that there was a flowering tree right outside their bedroom window. I love trees, but I was not sad to see that one go when our complex decided to remove it. Once it was gone, their allergy improved tremendously.
Now that I am older, I suffer from seasonal allergies. So much so that they trigger asthma, something I never had in my 50+ years. I have to take an inhaler twice a day from October to March.
I try to keep my home clean. I dust. I vacuum. We remove our shoes before coming into our home. But try as I might, allergens still have a way of making it into our home. We also have eight (yes, 8) cats, and their dander is also an allergen.
During the warmer months we have our windows open, which allows pollen and dust from the road to make it’s way inside.
I rather not have to take allergy medications (I take enough medications to begin with), which is why I keep our home as clean as possible, as well as use air purifiers. Is there anything else I can do?
Let me introduce you to Allergy Defender. Allergy Defender is a science-baked shield against allergens.
Co-founded by 32-year-old Savanna, whose life was changed after nearly losing her own battle with allergies as a child, Allergy Defender offers a holistic, safe, and sustainable way to combat indoor allergens and maintain a healthy home environment. Entrepreneurship runs in her blood—she comes from a long line of self-made business women and men. She started my first ventures as a kid with a dog walking business and then transitioned to a photography business. However, she always felt called to help people, which led her to create Allergy Defender.
Savanna’s father, Chris, along with a dedicated team of chemists with expert knowledge in mineral-based products, developed an allergen neutralizing spray that changed Savanna’s life with allergies. They decided this was too good to keep secret and thus Allergy Defender was born. Chris has also founded and run several successful businesses throughout his life.
I was sent some Allergy Defender to try out for myself in my home. I received to review the brands 33.8 ounce spray bottle and two refill packets.
Allergy Defender is easy to prepare. Simply pour the concentrate into the spray bottle and add water and shake well (shake each time you use it as well). That’s is.

To use, simply spray it on your furniture, carpeting, bedding, walls and hard surfaces (spray then wipe on hard surfaces). Do not use on mater sensitive material and glass.
I asked if this was safe to use around pets and I was told it was. I was told to make sure the area is dry before allowing pets on to it. This way I was able to spray all their cat beds and cat trees.

According to the brand;
Air testing up to 95% to 80% Reduction of Major Allergens*
Based on the results from testing air samples collected from an environmental chamber, Allergen Spray effectively reduces the dust mite, cat, and dog allergens after being sprayed in the air.
Surface testing up to 99% Reduction of Major Allergens*
Based on the results from surface samples collected from multiple testing procedures, Allergen Spray effectively reduces the number of allergens from dust mite and cockroach matter, and cat and dog dander from surfaces after being treated.
* Both statements apply to the allergens tested, which are representative of the variety of clinically relevant indoor allergens known to contribute to the development and exacerbation of asthma and other allergic conditions.
I like that this spray doesn’t have a scent either.
So far, so good. I am not a scientist, so I cannot confirm or deny any claims, but from my own personal experience, I think this product is very helpful. I use my inhaler as per my doctor’s orders, however I feel like I have been breathing better and I haven’t really needed it the past few weeks.
Allergy Defender is sold on Amazon (as well as the brand’s website). There is had a 4.3 out of 5 star rating (currently 7,542 reviews). It would appear that I am not the only one who has had a positive experience with this product.
Would I continue to use it once my review samples have been used up? Yes. I honestly think I will continue with this product and purchase more refills. Since it’s affordable, it’s a small price to pay for easy breathing.
