Amway Nutrilite Update – 2/17/12 #AmwayNutrilite

This week has not been a good week for me. Last weekend I learned that my cousin’s husband was in the hospital due to a blood clot in his brain. On Sunday he passed away. He was only 31 years old. They were only married for four months. ๐Ÿ™

Tuesday was the wake and Wednesday was the funeral.

We took the kids out of school early on Tuesday to attend the wake. I was fine until I saw my cousin. It broke my heart! I didn’t know what to say. Its as if words were not enough. The moment I saw her I started to cry!

We stayed there for an hour or so then left with my father, stepmother, cousin and his family. We stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner. As far as sticking to the Amway Nutrilite weight loss plan on Tuesday, I didn’t. I mean I didn’t go out of my way to eat bad stuff. I just didn’t take my supplements like I should have and I didn’t follow the meal plan. Tuesday was just a rough day all around. Between coordinating things with my husband (he had to leave work early) and picking up the kids, then driving upstate was hard enough.

When we ate at Cracker Barrel I made sure to eat healthy. I had grilled chicken, baby carrots, and boiled potatoes. I could have easily indulged in one of the juice cheeseburgers my kids and husband ate, but I didn’t. I was good.

I got back on track with the Amway plan on Wednesday. Things were OK until Friday when my both of my kids were home sick and my daughter had to go to the doctor, then to get blood tests. It was another day where sticking to the plan sort of went right out the window.

So it has not been a good week at all. I didn’t lose anything. I guess on the bright side I didn’t gain either, so I guess that is good.

My “game plan” was to take some video this week of some of the products that I use daily. It just didn’t work out that way. Next week is going to be hard too since both my kids are off from school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for Winter break.

I didn’t even get a chance to exercise this week. Thankfully my husband brought our Gazelle glider up from our basement storage so I have a new piece of equipment o add to the mix. Between the Gazelle, the bands and exercise ball, plus plenty of DVDs, I have a nice collection at my disposal.

I wish I had better things to report this week. At least I didn’t gain. That is the important thing.

Wish me luck that next week is better. ๐Ÿ™‚
