Amway Nutrilite Update – #AmwayNutrilite

I totally messed up this week. My intention was to post my update on Monday. I started my post on Monday but then I got side tracked and the post was left in “limbo”. So I moved that post to trash and figured I’d start again. I think maybe posting on Friday will be a lot easier. Monday’s are usually a tad bit crazy.

How much weight have I lost thus far? Drum roll please… 6 pounds since I started two weeks ago. Well, technically 5.8, but I’m rounding up because it’s easier to keep track of. When you start to factor in ounces I start to mess up my totals.

I got it more exercise than I anticipated this week. We live on the top floor condo. There are three flights of steps on the inside and three flights on the outside to get to the parking lot. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I must have gone up and down those stairs at least a 100 times this week.

I went to Costco earlier this week and went up and down the stairs to get the things from my car up to our condo. Often I was carrying heavy things (like the kitty litter box that weighs a ton).

Also this week I did a lot of cleaning so I had to lug bags of clothes to donate, garbage to throw out and things to take up to the recycle bin. If I keep this up I’m going to have the best looking legs around. Ha Ha.

I’m getting better remembering to take all my supplements with my meals. Last week I kept forgetting to take them. This week I forgot twice, both times at dinner time. I guess I just get so caught up with getting dinner ready that it slips my mind. I do take them as soon as I remember, but ideally I’d like to take them prior to eating.

My kids are good about reminding me to take my supplements. I am grateful for their help.

My will power has been very well this week. Usually I have a problem with will power. Not this week. I don’t know why. Maybe because I was so busy all week long that I didn’t have time to think much about food. Keeping busy helps.

Earlier today I tried a cookie that I need to review. I had JUST ONE. I could have had a few of them but it wasn’t worth it to me to gain back the weight that I loss. The weight loss is more important to me.

One of the meals that I had, the Veggie Soup, is SO GOOD! I could eat that every day. Even my family likes the soup. The recipe is for two servings. I did double it for four servings for each family member but they cannot get enough of it. I have to find a way to triple it. My husband said he’d love to have some to take to work with him. The soup is incredibly easy to make.

I also had a baked potato with Salsa for lunch this week. Oh my goodness! Even that was incredibly good.

One meal this week I had to skip. I did have dinner, but it wasn’t the dinner I was suppose to have. The recipe called for white fish and Ratatouille. I was just way too tired to make something too involved. Instead I just had a plain chicken breast, some brown rice and steamed broccoli. I figured it was OK to have because it was still a healthier choice.

I like that you can have a bit of flexibility with the program. It does tell you what you should eat eat day and each meal but it’s not written in stone. I’m sure you can swap days too. For example, if Wednesday’s meal is more convenient for you on Monday, just swap them out.

My goal for the up coming week is to get some exercise for the rest of my body, not just my legs. I have resistance bands now that I am going to utilize daily. I’d like to get  rid of some of that ugly “jiggle” under my arm (I’m sure many people know what I mean).

So in a nut shell, so far, so good. 🙂

Next week I’ll get some good photos of the products and recipes. I’m sorry for not doing that sooner. I need to take a video too. Maybe that will be my goal for next week to0 – video!
