Let’s face it, “boo boos” happen. It can be something as simple as a papercut (they do hurt A LOT), or something a bit more serious, like a burn from reaching into the oven, or accidently snipping your skin when using a pair of scissors (I have done that before). Accidents such as these are all a part of life. That is why it’s essential to have the proper first aid products to handle medical issues quickly and efficiently.
It’s even important to have a lot of band aids on hand, especially when you have children. I work with children, and they are always asking me for band aids to put on their “invisible” boo boos. I say that because 99% of the time there is nothing on their skin. They just THINK a band aid will make a bump or itch feel better. I think a lot of the time they just want a cool band aid to sport on their hand or finger (I always pick up ones with fun designs).
My first aid kit at work used to be a lot better than the one I had at home for my family. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve needed a band aid, antiseptic wipes or gauze, and not have anything on hand. I’ve had to rummage through the kit in my car sometimes to find what I need.
You can never be too prepared, which is why you should have an ample stock of supplies you may (or may not) need some day. It’s also important to check your first aid quick regularly and restock items you might be running low or out of.
Not too long ago I received the most amazing first aid kit from the brand Keep Going First Aid Kits. Not only are their kits complete with pretty much everything you might need, but they are also portable, meaning you can take them on the go with you.
With so many families going on vacation over the summer, having such a kit is a must for your RV, long car rides, and camping. Even adventure seekers such as hikers and rock climbers should have a great first aid kit handy. The Keep Going First Aid Kits can easily fit inside a backpack. luggage or duffle bag.
Here is a little more information about the brand;

The kits are also available in a nice variety of stylish and trendy patterns and colors.
I received the super kit to review in the cute rainbow print.
I love that everything fits neatly in this compact package. Inside the contents are filled into different “slots” on different “pages.” There are even spots inside the front and back of the kit.
There is a handle on the one side to carry it around. There is also a loop on one end that you can use to attach it to something, such as a backpack.
It would take me a long time to list each individual first air supply found inside this case, so I’ll just share with you a screen shot from the brand’s website.
This kit comes complete with everything you might need, for both children and adults. There are even things in this kit that I would never think to have handy, such as an instant ice (cold) pack and emergency blankets. It even comes with hand sanitizers, tick removers (gross) and burn cream. They literally thought of everything when putting this kit together.
Here are some photos from inside the kit.
Everything fits so nicely in this kit.
The CPR mask is another product I would never think of, but would come in very handy if you needed to perform CPR on a stranger and you didn’t want to risk disease transmission (such as COVID).
There are so many fun band aid designs for both kids and adults.
Plenty of burn gel, which is nice to have.
Triple antibiotic – NICE!
You can easily add in more supplies such aspirin into the packages and slots of this kit.
I have seen plenty of first aid kits in my life time, but this one is honestly one of the best I have ever seen. For what you get inside, as well as it’s compactness and portability, makes this a “must have” product to keep in your home, in your car, at work and when you travel. You just never know when some of it’s content will come in handy. You should always be prepared for emergencies, bit and small.
You can refill your first aid kit with supplies from your local grocery or drug store, however, Keep Going has a refill kit available on their website which makes it easier and more convenience. It also means the products will fit nicely in whatever kit you might own. The refill kit contains 77 pieces, and honestly for $9.99 (current price), I think it’s a bargain compared to having to buy the components separately.
