When it comes to jewelry, I don’t wear a lot of it. I have plenty of nice pieces. I just don’t think it’s practical to wear at home or at work (I work with young kids). I save my best pieces for “date night” with my husband or if we are going out with family and/or friends.
I LOVE things that sparkle and shine. I’m always attracted to sparkly things – especially when I walk past the jewelry stores in the mall. The only problem is we cannot afford the pieces that catch my eye. And to be honest, I wouldn’t want to wear anything that valuable either. I’ve had bad luck with jewelry in the past and it would be devastating to lose a valuable piece of jewelry.
This is just one example of my bad luck with jewelry.
My husband bought me a beautiful “Mother’s Ring” that he had all our birthstones on. I loved it. It was a beautiful ring.
One day I had used the restroom in Walmart and the ring slipped off my finger and into the toilet. I stood there for a moment contemplating what I could do. After all, it was a public toilet (gross!). Before I had the chance to think of a way to rescue my ring the toilet flushed (it had an automatic flusher) and down the drain my beautiful ring went. Sigh…
If that had been a $$$$$ ring I would have been beyond upset. I mean, I was upset because I loved that ring, but it would have been worse if it was an expensive ring.
So where can you find quality “bling” that sparkles and shines like the real thing without spending a small fortune? Check out Ice.com.
Ice.com does have high quality, real diamond jewelry, but they also carry realistic looking diamond jewelry that is more affordable.
Here are just a few examples of the type of beautiful jewelry you’ll find at Ice.com that is “budget friendly.” I noted the current price under each one.
These are just a FEW examples.
Ice.com sells jewelry in all price points – even thousands of dollars. This lovely ring (pictured below) is just under $14,000!
Anyone can shop at Ice.com.
In addition to rings they also carry necklaces, bracelets, earrings, watches and even fragrances.
I was asked to review an item from Ice.com. It was a hard decision to pick out which item I wanted to review. After much deliberation I chose this ring – 1 CT TW Simulated Emerald Sterling Silver Engagement Ring. I’m not getting engaged (I’ve been married 19+ years!), but I couldn’t resist the emerald (my birthstone) and the lovely heart setting.
The grand total for this beautiful ring – $34.95!
The picture does not do this ring justice at all. It’s so much nicer in person.
I tried to snap a few photos, but none of them look right (not to mention my hands/fingers look so old!).
I have received many compliments on this ring. The large heart shaped emerald is what catches most people’s eyes.
I know the stones are not real. Several people I’ve asked tell me the stones look real.
I love this ring. I wear it often. I don’t think it’s too “dressy” at all. I wear it to work, to run errands or out to dinner with my husband.
I also like that it’s replaceable should it ever become lost.
To be honest, I don’t think I ever want a real diamond ring (something like my emerald heart ring pictured above but with real stones) because I would be too worried about it being lost or stolen. I have a few expensive pieces of jewlery that I don’t wear for that very reason. It’s a shame to have pieces that you are afraid to wear and never see the light of day outside the jewelry box.
I am very pleased with my ring from Ice.com and I have a few others bookmarked on my site that I would love to add to my collection.
If you would like to check out what Ice.com has to offer, simply visit the website, Ice.com. It’s easy enough to remember.
The brand can also be found on the social media sites. The links are found at the bottom of their website.
What do you think about the jewelry from Ice.com? Does it look like something you would love to add to your own jewelry collection?
