A long, long, LONG time ago, my hair was my crowing glory – literally. My brother-in-law’s sister used to cut my hair, and she referred to it as a “lion’s mane” because it was so lush and thick. Fast forward a few decades, and my hair is not even close to what it used to be. It’s not as thick. It fall out in clumps, and it’s turning gray, silver and white (that is, if I totally let it go…which I’m not ready to do right now).
When it comes to my hair, I’m always on the look out for wonderful products that can help my hair look and feel good, even if it’s not as great as it used to be.
I was recently sent some product from the brand TO112. They sent me a couple of their products to try out.
Here is a little bit about the brand;

I was sent the following products. I had to recruit my daughter to help me out with these, since these are products I am not entirely familiar with. My daughter on the other hand is really into beauty products.
A heat-activated blowout mist that tames humidity for beautiful shiny hair. A trio of tamanu, grapeseed, and black seed oils and an innovative copolymer blend working together lock in moisture, create glass-like shine and shield your style for long-lasting, glossy, frizz-free, salon-quality blowouts. It features an all-natural Tahitian gardenia scent with the subtle warmth of vanilla.
Yes! This product does smell lovely. I have never smelled such a pretty hair product before. Sadly, the scent doesn’t stick with you all day (at least not that I have noticed). None the less, as you are using the product, you can definitely smell it (it definitely smells more like gardenia than vanilla, but that is OK).
The reason why I needed my daughter to help me with this product is because I rarely blow dry my hair. I let my hair air dry to allow my natural waves and curls to come out. If I blow dry my hair, my hair is straight, and straight hair is not a good look on me (sadly).
My daughter has similar waves, but she alternates between letting her hair go natural (wavy), using the spiral curler to give her hair more curls, or blow drying it straight (and using the straightener if needed).
When my daughter uses this spray, they blow dries her hair (sometimes using the straightener) it does add a really nice glossy “finish” to her hair. In fact, I can usually tell when she uses this spray because her hair looks more glossy/shiny when she uses it. It also gives her hair a silky looking appearance.
Begrudgedly, my daughter sent me one of the million photos (selfies) she has of herself to give you an idea of what her hair looks like when she uses this product. It’s not the best photo, but at least it covers up most of her face (which I was opting for). Her hair looks a lot nicer in person. At least you can see how smooth her hair looks, and how she doesn’t have any “flyaways.”
Another product that was sent to me is T0112’s Dry Texture Spray.
I have no clue what a texture spray is. I know what texture means, but I honestly don’t know why you would need to add texture to your hair. Once my daughter described to me what it was, I knew I wanted to try it.
The best alternative to dry shampoo, this multi-use styling spray is invisible, weightless, long-lasting, and free of chalky build-up, creating a tousled texture to blowout styles and next day looks. It provides excellent grip for non-slip braids and updos, or when used to help keep hair accessories locked in place. It’s a must-have for any styling regime with a soft cedarwood and amber aroma and a zing of fresh invigorating lime.
This is another amazing scented product. I wish more hair care products had such pretty scents. It has a “woodsy” scent to it, which I suspect is from the amber (I don’t smell any lime, but I don’t mind).
To give you an idea of what I mean about my hair, below is a before/after of me when I got my hair colored and cut back in August. I’m a natural blonde, but I prefer darker (auburn) hair.
This is kind of like hair spray, but at the same time, it’s not. It does not make your hair feel stiff or “crunchy” like a traditional hairspray does. Instead, this adds a bit of hold, but it doesn’t “freeze” your hair into place.
I use this spray with my natural waves. I add a little of this spray to my hair after I towel dry it, and let my hair dry naturally. This spray helps my waves keep their shape. I can even use this to “scrunch” my hair if I feel like my waves are getting a bit “flat.” Take for example, the day after I wash my hair, my hair tends to look more straight because my waves, for whatever reason, lose their shape. This spray helps them to stay wavy longer.
My daughter uses this spray too on days she doesn’t want straight hair, and like me, she wants to let her natural waves shine through. It does tend to work better for her if she DIDN’T straighten her hair the day before. The waves don’t really come through. She uses this on days she lets her hair dry naturally, or if she let her hair dry naturally the day before.
I guess you can say this is a spray version of a mousse for your hair.
