I am a HUGE fan of PLAYMOBIL toys. I had some when I was a young girl. I honestly cannot remember which sets I had, but I do recall one of them had a horse (I was big into animal and horse toys). PLAYMOBIL has continued to put out new toys year after year. Their play sets look a lot different then they did when I was a child.
What I love about PLAYMOBIL is that they put a lot of detail into all of their sets – from tiny toothbrushes to elaborate buildings. They think of everything.
PLAYMOBIL toys come with a lot of accessories when ensure endless play.
Another thing I love about PLAYMOBIL is that they encourage children to use their imaginations. I think that is something that is lacking in children these days. Thanks to apps and video games, children don’t have the opportunity to use their imaginations. When I was a child we didn’t have video games, smartphones or tablets. I spent my days outside playing in the woods behind our home. I would also use every recyclable and scrap I could find to build “sets” for my dolls and other figurines. I was always using my imagination, especially because I played by myself a lot.
Over the years I have been lucky enough to review some amazing PLAYMOBIL sets. Most of them I donate to the program where I work. Two sets I ended up keeping for myself (two Volkswagen sets). If you would like to read my reviews on other PLAYMOBIL sets, do a search for PLAYMOBIL in the search bar found on top of my site.
I was sent to review some sets from PLAYMOBIL’s EverDreamerz Music World. I have heard of EverDreamerz before, but I have not seen any of them until now.
I was sent to review all of the figures – Viola, Rosalee, Clare, Starleen, and Edwina – as well as their tour bus.
Friends Viola, Rosalee, Clare, Starleen, and Edwina venture to Edwina’s Music World dreamscape. The evil Lady Nightmare tries to turn the girls’ dreams into nightmares, but the power of friendship unites them, and they go on to meet a cast of supporting characters along the way.
Each figure comes in a beautifully designed box which includes collectables cards, bracelets, beads, charms and accessories, as well as stickers to complete a free sticker booklet.
When you open up each figure’s box you’ll see numerous “doors” that you need to open to reveal what special item is hiding below. Make sure you check the entire box. The first time I opened up one of the boxes I missed two “doors” (I did eventually open them all).
I think it adds to the fun and excitement of these toys when there are so many goodies to unveil.
It’s almost like opening up presents at Christmas time because you have no idea what you’ll find inside once you unwrap things.
I should note that one of the dolls in not seen in these photos. She got caught up in some items we were taking down to our basement storage area and has yet to be found. So for the time being, let’s just say that she’s “camera shy.”
I won’t be able to photograph them all together because I brought the toys to the program where I work, and school is out for the summer. I’m sorry about that. But she’s just as cute as the other figures in the EverDreamerz collection.
The EverDreamerz dolls each comes with a musical instrument (since they are part of a band), as well as other items like a microphone and microphone stand, music sheets, outfits, jewelry and even pets.
The dolls even come with extra hair pieces so you can give them long or short pig tails.
I cannot get over just how much is included in each set, as well as the tiniest details they put on many of them accessories, as well as the dolls themselves.
The pieces can be mixed and matched with all of the EverDreamerz dolls, as well as other PLAYMOBIL figures. You can create more than one rock band.
Here are just a few photos of the accessories and the dolls.
PLAYMOBIL thought of EVERYTHING.
Look over the pictures (above). Look at all the amazing detail. PLAYMOBIL thought of everything.
Rock stars need a way to get from concert venture to concert venue. That is why PLAYMOBIL came up with the EverDreamerz Tour Bus.
This tour bus comes with everything travelling musicians would need on the road – bedding, a place to hang up their wardrobe, shelfs, make up mirrors, a couch and of course, a stage to perform on. There is also ample room in the “trunk” to store things.
The tour bus comes complete with sparkly stickers that you can place all around the bus, as well as on the stage.
It’s hard to see the glittery stickers in the photos, or on the stage photo (below).
The tour bus would work with all of the EveryDreamerz figures. Two dolls can sit in the front, and there are two beds. However, someone could “sleep” on the couch if needed.
Just like with the dolls themselves, PLAYMOBIL put meticulous detail into this tour bus. They thought of everything.
This set comes with a doll, clothing, food, beverage, make up, computer, blanket, pillow and more. There are also a lot of bracelets (or watches) too. All of these accessories work with all of the EverDreamerz dolls, as well as other PLAYMOBIL figures.
Here are a few photos from the tour bus set.
The roof and cabin (front part where the steering wheel is) come off so that you can easily access the inside of the tour bus.
As you can see from the photos, there is so much that you can do with this play set and the EverDreamerz dolls.
This tour bus is portable, so it would be easy to take with you on vacation. All the pieces fit inside the tour bus for easy storage. You can ever store the other dolls and accessories inside. I would recommend putting the accessories inside a sandwich bag so that they don’t come out of the windows.
As you can see there are tiny accessories, therefore these toys are not good for children who put things in their mouths.
You can find these EverDreamerz sets on the PLAYMOBIL website, PLAYMOBIL.us (notice that it’s .US and not .com). They can also be purchase at other retail locations.
You can also follow PLAYMOBIL on social media. All of their links are found on the bottom of their website.
What do you think about these sets? Do they look like something your child/grandchild would love to play with? Feel free to comment and share your thoughts.
