Check out The Comfy – a new way to keep warm

 

I’m not sure if it’s the same in other parts of the country, but here in New York I’m getting “weather whiplash.” One day we have the air conditioner blasting, and the next day we’re cranking up the heat.

Fall weather appears to be kicking in (finally). We’ve had nights so cold that my husband put the flannel sheets on our bed and took out the heavier comforter. I think he’s going a wee bit overboard right now. It’s not THAT cold. But, admittedly, there have been times where I’ve had a bit of a chill. I’m rarely cold, but the older I get the more sensitive I am to the cold.

I wear fuzzy slippers and a sweater when I am cold at home. That seems to be fine enough for me, but the rest of my family, especially our daughter an my husband, no matter what they do, they can never keep warm.

If you are one of those people who tend to bundle up when there is a bit of a chill in your home, or you just love to snuggle with a soft blanket, I have a great product for you. It’s called The Comfy.

The Comfy is kind of like a sweatshirt, but it’s also like a blanket. It’s as if the two combined to make one fabulous product.

The Comfy is a huge blanket-like product that you wear. It even has a hood and a pocket to keep your head and hands warm.

You can snuggle into the comfy by pulling up the hood and tucking your feet underneath. It’s almost like making yourself into a snugly and warm “cocoon.”

I was sent one of The Comfy’s to review. I received one in a dark red color. The Comfy is available in a large variety of colors. They even have special ones for Christmas (Santa, reindeer, Elf), a pink one for Breast Cancer and an American flag one.

The moment I received The Comfy to review, our daughter just had to try it right away. She is ALWAYS cold. Even in the summer she wear hoodies and complains she’s cold. She also has Raynaud’s Disease, so when she gets cold her hands turn ghost white.

Our daughter is short (5′ 2″) and a medium size in clothing. The Comfy fit her just fine, even if it seemed too big on her. She doesn’t mind at all. She prefers it to be big because she says she can bury herself inside of it when on the couch or in bed watching TV or on her computer.

As you can see, it looks like she’s wearing a blanket with a hood on it.

I’m a plus size woman. Lately I’ve been wearing 1X/2X clothing. I was reluctant to try on The Comfy, thinking it wouldn’t fit me, but it does! And it fits with plenty of room to spare.

On me, the arms on The Comfy are a bit long, but that is fine with me. It keeps my hands and arms covered and warm.

My husband HATES being cold. He counts down the days until the first day of summer when the first day of autumn comes around (no kidding). He even jokes about making one of those paper chains people make for Christmas (the ones you tear off a chain each day until Christmas), to countdown the first day of summer. Ha Ha.

One night I found him in bed, on his phone, wearing The Comfy. He didn’t sleep in it, but he wore it until he was ready to go to sleep.

The Comfy matches our bedding really well. It’s pretty much the same color.

The Comfy is not only great to wear at home, but you can take it with you on the go. You can wear The Comfy at outside sporting events and camping, for example.

The Comfy is great for both woman and men. They even have children’s sizes.

The brand also sells boots and a Comfy hoodie, which is a new product.

The Comfy was invented by two brothers and were featured on ABC’s Shark Tank. They are backed by the show’s star Barbara Corcoran.

We love our Comfy. We all share it, but I think it might be time to buy everyone their own. I’m thinking of giving my kids (who are young adults) one each for their birthday, as well as my husband. That way I can get mine back.

The Comfy and any of the other brand’s products would make great gifts for the holiday season.
