I love decorating for the holidays. My two most favorite holidays to decorate for are Christmas and Halloween.
Although I hate that my kids are growing up and getting older, the advantage to that is that I can use creepy decorations for Halloween. When my kids were little I kept the decorations “G” rated so as now to scare them. Now that they are much older I can put out the scarier decorations.
I like decorations that are different and unique – things that most people won’t have on their homes. I’m always on the look out for fun decorations. Currently I’m looking for a life size figure to put on my balcony to greet people when they come into our condo building. Too bad they are so much $$$. The idea of having a life size Michael Meyers hanging out on my balcony sounds like fun. 🙂
I love horror movies and TV series. I’m looking forward to the second season of The Walking Dead on AMC. Now, thanks to Stuffless I have my own little zombie to enjoy the show with. He’s weird, creepy, unique and CUTE! His name is Dead Ted.
Stuffless currently has available a few scary dolls including Bram Poke-her (Vampire) and Wolfman Puck (Werewolf).
What I love about these plush dolls is that they are creepy without being scary for little children. They bring a bit of macabre to your home without terrifying young children.
When I first introduced Dead Ted to my family it was actually my husband who thought he was gross and asked “Why would anyone buy such a gross doll?”. I think my kids reaction to Dead Ted answers his question – they love him! My daughter is a teen and my son is a ‘tween and they both think Dead Ted is really cool. In fact last night we were watching Friday the 13th (the original movie) and my daughter was snuggling up with Ted.
My son gets a kick out of his dangling eye. LOL!
Stuffless put a lot of detail into Dead Ted. He features gnawed off feet (one with an exposed bone), a bite taken out of his head, a dangling eye ball, exposed ribs and spine, various rips and tears in his clothing and a bite out of his butt (or at least that is what it looks like).
Dead Ted is one of those things that it’s so ugly that it’s cute. I’m sure many people know what I mean.
I think these dolls are meant to be more of a decoration then something a kid would want to snuggle with. They are plush but they are not soft like a teddy bear. Of course one would wonder why a child would want to snuggle with a Vampire, Werewolf or Zombie to begin with. Ha Ha.
I think the Stuffless plush dolls are fun to display around your home for the Halloween season. They would also make a fun gift for someone who is a fan of horror movie or who likes to collect unusual dolls or decor.
To learn more about Stuffless please visit www.Stuffless.com. They are a new store and currently only have these three plush dolls available. I’m sure in time they will have more products added.
