Halloween is fast approaching. Are you ready? Does your child have their Halloween costume? Are you stocked up on Halloween candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters, as well as some to keep for yourself (admit it, we all do that. Ha Ha)?
I’m psyched and ready for Halloween. We’ve been decorated for weeks, and I’m looking forward to hosting a Halloween party for my “work kids” at our site.
The kids I work with are also super excited for Halloween. I think it’s because they are old enough to truly appreciate the fun of dressing up in a costume and going around shouting “trick-or-treat” for candy. For younger children, Halloween is just another day. They can’t really grasp the true meaning of the holiday, as well as how much fun it can be.
Little ones can get into the Halloween spirit with a super cute toy from the brand iPlay Learn. Older kids will enjoy these fun toys too.
iPlay Learn has adorable costumes that work for both Halloween, as well as dress up/role playing.
Oh my goodness! I wish my kids were little again so I could dress them up in one of these sweet costumes. My son would have gone crazy for the fireman one.
My daughter used to always love to play dress up with her friends. My son ended up wearing a lot of HER dress up clothes because I only had a few items for a boy. I wish I had iPlay Learn when my kids were little so I could have picked my son up a few of their adorable dress up outfits – which of course can be used a Halloween costume too.
I like that you could purchase these for Halloween, and repurpose them as a dress up/role play outfit. That gives them multipurpose. There is nothing worse than spending money on a Halloween costume that your child never wears again. Outfits like these they can wear over and over again.
As if the costumes weren’t precious enough, iPlay Learn has toys called Bouncy Pals that would go along with these outfits.
A Bouncy Pal is an inflatable horse that your child/grandchild can play with, including sitting on it and bouncing on it as if they were riding a real horse.
Take for example the pretty princess and cowboy outfits. How cute would it be to see them paired with one of these horses?
Bouncy Pals are inflatable shapes that come with a variety of “skins” you can put on top of them to give them a whole new look. Most Bouncy Pals are horse shaped, but there are other shapes available.
Bouncy Pals also come with a hand held air pump, which let me tell you is greatly needed.
Check out a few more examples of Bouncy Pals.
As you can see, Bouncy Pals are more than just fun toys. They also help increase body strength, balance and motion exposure. They also encourage active play, which so many children are lacking these days. Sadly, many kids prefer to play video games or be on their parent’s smartphones instead of actively playing.
I think these toys also encourage a child to use their imagination. I can picture myself as a child with one of these toys. Oh the adventures I would go on with my Bouncy Pal!
iPlay Learn was kind enough to send me one of their Bouncy Pals to check out for myself. I received the ideal Bouncy Pal for Halloween – Bouncy Pals Skeleton Horse.
As soon as I saw this I knew I had to have it. Our home is filled with spooky and quirky decorations, and I knew this would fit right in.
Initially I wanted to review this Bouncy Pal to give to my daughter when I was done with my review to use with the autistic children that she works with, but I fell in love with this adorable skeleton horse that I opted to keep it. I feel bad about that, but look how cute it is.
As I mentioned, this came with an air pump (thankfully). To use, pop out the “button” on the base of the Bouncy Pal, and insert the end of the air pump. Next, pump it up as much as you can, then QUICKLY remove the air pump tip and put the “button” back in the hole. That was a bit tricky. I had to blow it up a few times until I was able to get the button back in quick enough, otherwise the air came back out of it rapidly.
I should mention it also came with a tool to help remove the button, as well as a spare button just in case you need a new one.
Bouncy Pals are recommended for children 18 moths to 12 years. I’m not sure about the ages. Maybe up to 7 or 8 years old. I can’t imagine a 12 year old fitting on this too well. I don’t know what the maximum weight is for this toy.
Here is the toy on our coffee table to give you an idea of it’s size.
The cover had a bit of a wrinkle in it because I needed to blow it up some more. Once I had it blown up fully, that worked it’s way out.
I smile every time I look at this. We currently have it next to the hallway opening, so we walk past it every day on our way in/out of our home. It’s so cute!
I like that the cover is soft too. You can also remove it if you want to (but why would you want to?).
Bouncy Pals range in price from $35.99 – $39.99 (the two headed monster one is more money).
Bouncy Pals would make a great addition to a Halloween costume, dress up, play time and even a cute Halloween decoration.
With the holiday season upon us, Bouncy Pals would also make a great holiday gift for that special little someone on your holiday shopping list.
