No matter how much sunscreen we’ve slathered on this summer while relaxing at the beach or pool, having picnics in the park, hiking our favorite trail, etc. our skin has inevitably taken a beating. But just because summer is over, it doesn’t mean we should neglect our skin. We should take care of our skin year round, including wearing sunscreen (even in the winter), and making sure to clean and moisturize your skin daily.
There is a product that can help you to rehab your skin to help you keep your summer glow year-round, and you won’t have to apply a lot of different products.
The product is called FactorFive.
FACTORFIVE’s Regenerative Serum is the perfect post-summer addition to your skincare routine. Through the use of ethically derived human-stem cell technology, the product helps your skin learn to repair itself, even after a long day in the sun. It targets the five signs of aging: wrinkles, sun spots, skin laxity, thickness and uneven texture while helping to give you a more hydrated, youthful appearance. The cruelty-free product is designed with ZERO parabens, mineral oil, sulfate detergents, phthalates, urea, DEA or TEA.
I was sent FactorFive’s Regenerative Serum to review.
If I knew then what I know now, I would have taken better care of my skin. I would have used sunscreen on my face and not just my body, and I would have fully washed and moisturized my face as a teen/young adult. I used to go to bed with a full face of make up. Ewww! These days I wash my face the moment I get home from work. I love the feeling of a clean face.
Here are the results I’ve seen after using FactorFive’s Regenerative Serum for a few weeks.
Wrinkles – I have wrinkles around my mouth (under the nose/upper lip, and around my mouth when I smile). I have very slight wrinkles near the outer corners of my eyes. As for the wrinkles around my mouth, I haven’t really noticed a difference at all. The small, slight wrinkles on the outer part of my eye look like they might have improved a bit. The skin near my eye looks tighter, but it doesn’t feel tighter. I think that is why those little wrinkles look better (it looks like they are smaller).
Sun Spots – Thankfully I don’t have issue with sun spots for the most part (surprisingly). I do have one sun spot near my right eye. It looks like a freckle, but it’s not (it’s a sun spot as per my dermatologist). I think it looks lighter and less noticeable than it did before (pre-Regenerative Serum). I should have taken a before picture to be 100% sure, but in my opinion, it looks to be a bit lighter in color, making it less noticeable.
Skin Laxity – I wouldn’t say this helped much with the elasticity around my mouth and neck area, but I believe it’s helping the skin around my eyes. If you read what I wrote about wrinkles, I think this goes hand-in-hand. If this product is helping with the skin elasticity, than that could explain why my little wrinkles don’t look as bad or noticeable.
Thickness – I’m not really sure what thickness would feel like, therefore I don’t really know what to look for. I’m sorry about this one.
Uneven Texture – My skin definitely feels softer and more smooth.
It’s hard to explain. Do you know how your skin feels when you step out of the shower and apply skin care products (not makeup) and your skin feels free, soft and smooth? That is how my skin feels – even when I’m wearing make up. It’s feels nice to the touch.
My husband commented on how soft I feel when he stroked my cheek as part of a loving gesture. If HE can notice, then I would say that’s a good thing since men are not always turned in to things like this.
My skin can sometimes be sensitive to products. I have not had any issue with the Regenerative Serum.
A little bit goes a long way too. You do not “glob” this product on. Just one “pump” is enough.
For best results, use this product twice a day (morning and night) after you wash your face. I only used this product and nothing else for the past few weeks, so I could get a better idea of how the product works. I had considered using a moisturizer too, but this product seemed to give me enough moisture, so I didn’t feel the need to use an extra moisturizer. You can use any other beauty products you like along with this product. I would suggest using this product first, then follow up with any other product you feel you need to use.
FactorFive’s Regenerative Serum is not greasy and absorbs into the skin quickly. There is also a light, pleasant scent.
Overall I am pleased with the product. I’m sure with regular use I would see these areas improve even more.
I did have a compliment from someone at the school where I work. We were talking about our children, and he asked how old my kids were. I told them (they are both in their early 20’s) and he told me that I didn’t look old enough to have kids in their 20’s. That was a nice compliment! Perhaps FactorFive’s Regenerative Serum is making me look younger too?
FactorFive’s Regenerative Serum is not cheap ($199), but you get what you pay for (you are paying for a quality product, and receiving a quality product).
Honestly, if I had the money and could afford it, I would definitely reorder this product once I am done with this bottle. I like the results thus far, and I’d like to see them continue this way.
They do offer a mini-size for $70. I think I’ll look into getting that after I am done with my current bottle.
