Things have taken a serious turn here in the Northeast where I live. The weather had been unseasonably warm. Now the weather is more conducive to this time of the year. Even some parts of the state are experiencing torrential lake effect snowfall. If you have never experienced lake effect snow before, it’s A LOT of super heavy, wet snow.
These days I have swapped out wearing shorts and a t-shirt around my home to sweatpants and long sleeve tops. I even wear my big fuzzy socks or slippers to keep my feet warm.
Mornings are the worse. I hate waking up to the chill in the air. We can put the heat on, but even that takes a bit to kick in. My husband also tends to be warmer than me, so I hate having him put the heat on and feeling uncomfortable just for me.
Thank goodness for my new Dreamighty.
A Dreamighty is a blanket that you can wear. I liken it to a cross between a robe and a blanket.
The Dreamighty didn’t start out as a wearable blanket. The creator and founder, Karen Bonnici, originally handcrafted superhero blankets for her nieces and nephews, who absolutely loved them. After redesigning the blankets, filing patent applications, and creating adult and teen sizes for her own children, she showcased her new invention at a local craft fair. The tremendous response she received led her to begin selling to family, friends, and at vendor shows. Now, the business is thriving with its ecommerce store and robust Amazon Store! Her ingenuity is all the more remarkable because she is a breast cancer survivor who endured a brutal treatment program during the pandemic while launching her business.
So what exactly is a Dreamighty, and what makes it different than a regular blanket or robe?
Dreamighty incorporates flat sleeves inside its design, allowing you to enshroud yourself effortlessly in its warmth while laying down, walking around or relaxing outside on the patio.
I was sent a Dreamighty to review. It happened to arrive the same time I came down with a nasty stomach bug, so having a super soft, snuggly Dreamighty was great to have when I was feeling sick.
Right after I started to feel better, my son came down with the same virus. I found him shivering in his bed, so I grabbed the Dreamighty and gave it to him to wear while in bed (and walking around). That was over a week ago. I have not got it back, even though he’s feeling better. He keeps telling me that it’s HIS now (ha ha). Silly me. I should have gone with the hot pink instead of a neutral gray.
The Dreamighty is super duper soft. That was one of the things my son commented about it as well. He said it feels like a plush animal in a way.
I tried to take a photo to show off the plushness, but I am not sure how well you can sense that with the above photo.
Even our cats love Dreamighty! If my son leaves it on the bed he’ll come back to find one of our cats taking it over.
Dreamighty is not only great for you and your family, but it would also make a wonderful and thoughtful gift this holiday season. Kids, teens and adults can enjoy and appreciate the Dreamighty.
You can also check out the Dreamighty superhero cape and other children’s designs. I wish Dreamighty was around when my kids were little. My son would have gone crazy for “cape” design.
Dreamighty is available in many different colors and designs. Everyone in your family can have their own Dreamighty.
