People are gearing up to get their holiday shopping done. I know some people who have finished shopping. I haven’t even started yet! I’m still thinking of ideas for my family and co-workers. I have a few ideas floating around in my head. I just have to take pen to paper and make up a list.
I know this might not seem like a traditional gift idea, but what about gifting someone shoes? As someone who spends a lot of time on her feet at work, I can say that I appreciate having comfortable shoes that support my feet.
The brand KURU has shoes for both men and women made with heel-hugging technology designed to relieve foot pain and provide lasting support. After all, happy feet are the best gift you could give someone.
Don’t take my word for it. KURU shoes have thousands of reviews.
You can shop for KURU shoes based on several options, to ensure you find the best shoe for you.
You can shop by foot issues – Planter Fascitis, flat feet, heel pain, heel spurs, bunions, neuropathy…
Or you can shop by occupation – nursing, chef, postal worker, retail, barber…
In addition, you can shop by activity – walking, running, hiking fitness…
Lastly, you can also shop by the features you are looking for – non-slip, orthopedic, arch support, supportive.
I was sent a pair of shoes from KURU to try out for myself. I received their ATOM Women’s Athletic Sneaker to review.
This shoe is available in different color combinations. I chose black/white because it matches with my wardrobe the best.
ATOM delivers high-performance comfort.
…an athletic sneaker with built-in support and superior heel cushioning. The sleek ATOM combines airy mesh uppers, our revolutionary heel-hugging technology, and a thick KURUCLOUD midsole for maximum comfort in every step.
This shoe has an amazing 4.4 out of 5 star rating, with 4,678 reviews. That’s amazing!
Normally when I try on new shoes I break them in around my home, or on a brief errand. The last thing I want is to have to “stretch” out a new pair of shoes to make them comfortable when I have to be on my feet for hours. Not these shoes. These shoes felt like I had already broke them in from the first time I slipped my foot into them. There was no tightness. There was nothing to “stretch out.” They fit comfortably and were not snug at all.
I’ll admit the first time I wore these at work I didn’t think about them at all, but that’s a GOOD thing. If they were new and felt snug, I would have been thinking about my feet and taking my shoes off the whole time I was at work. So to say that I didn’t give them a thought tells you how wonderful they felt the first time I wore them.
I have worn these numerous times now. They feel just as nice as they did from day one.
My feet don’t hurt like they normally do. Often my feet hurt so bad by the time I leave work. I suffer from neuropathy in both feet too, which doesn’t make things better. In fact, it makes things worse.
This are currently my favorite shoe. They offer me not only a great style, but also a soft cushion for my feet, and the support my feet need.
I can wear these shoes to work, going for a walk with my husband at the local park, or doing a marathon holiday shopping spree and I know my feet will feel comfy and supported.
They are very breathable too! Even the top part of the shoe, which can sometimes be snug for people like me with chubby feet, doesn’t feel tight. It’s part of that breathable, flexible, mesh-like material.
KURU doesn’t only offer sneakers. They also carry sandals, slip-ons, slippers and boots, all made with their same foot support materials.
KURU is also on a mission to eliminate foot pain around the world. They give away $175 in KURU cash to five (5) winners every Friday. All you need to do to enter is create a KURU account. It’s fast and free.
I know that gifting someone shoes is not necessarily something people would think of as a gift. To be honest, my husband is on his feet all day long too. I would have no problem giving him a new pair of sneakers for Christmas. My son could use a new pair of boots for work too.
