Sometimes it can be very difficult to find the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday shopping list. Some people are easier to buy for than others. Our daughter, for example, usually has a “wish list” a mile long. My husband can sometimes be hard to buy for, but if I listen to the things he says carefully, I can usually extract something out of our conversations that I can translate into a gift. Take for example a new alarm clock (he’s complained that his is not working probably these days), and his dash camera (it’s falling apart).
Some people, like our son, are next to impossible to buy for. He never gives us clues, nor does he share with us anything he wants or needs. The only thing we’ve got out of him lately was that he wants new tires for his car. As lame as it sounds, we’re giving him the money to purchase the tires. Sadly, we can’t wrap new tires and stuff then under our Christmas tree.
There is something you can gift pretty much anyone on your holiday shopping list – the gift of power. I don’t mean physical or personal power, I’m referring to the electrical kind.
Let me introduce you to a new brand I recently learned about called Accell. Accell is a provider of innovative power products and enhanced connectivity solutions.
Accell has a number of great gift options for general consumers, gamers, business executives and students. Below is a list with links of some of their products that would make great gift options:
- ACCELL POWER AIR
- ACCELL Powramid with USB charging
- ACCELL POWER OFFICE with USB charging, ideal for Echo Dot 3 and Google Nest
- ACCELL POWER CUTIE
- ACCELL VR Adapter
- AxFAST 3202 Electric Vehicle Charger
I received the ACCELL Power Cutie to check out for myself.
The Power Cutie is a colorful, square shaped “hub” with plenty of spots to connect things, both for power and for charging.
The Power Cuties features;
- Electrical rating: 120VAC / 15A / 60Hz / 1800W
- 4 x USB Type-A charging ports – 5V / 4.8A / 24W total
- 3 x 540J surge protected AC outlets for your gadgets
- Fireproof X3 MOV Technology
- Compact size design: 3.6 x 3.6 x 3.3 inches
- Heavy duty 6 feet power cord with flat end plug
- UL Certified
I have a red Power Cutie. We have it plugged in between the couch and my husband’s chair.
There is only one outlet there. Our lamp is plugged into one of the plugs. If my husband wants to use his lalptop, I cannot charge my phone by the couch. I need to charge it in the kitchen. Or, if I am charging my phone near the couch, my husband can’t charge his.
With the Power Cutie, both of us can charge our phones by the couch/chair at the same time. My husband can also use his laptop as well (he needs a new laptop – it doesn’t keep a charge).
The ACCELL Power Cutie has worked out perfectly for us. We’ve put it to great use thus far.
I love that we can charge our devices while also being able to use other powered products (lamp, laptop…).
The Power Cutie also has a long, thick cord, which has been helpful too. It’s thick enough that our cats don’t bother with it.
The only thing I wish the Power Cutie had was covers for all the ports/plugin sites when not in use. We have six cats, so we get a lot of pet hair. I’d hate to think that cat hair or dust will get in the openings and cause it not to work. We dust it off regularly (at least once a day), but it’s still a concern I have.
The ACCELL Power Cutie would make a great gift for anyone – homeowner, college student, business professional…
The Power Cutie is available in white, red, light blue, yellow, pink and one that resembles a softball/baseball (which is a bit peculiar).
This product sells for $35.99 on the ACCELL website, making it a budget friendly gift too.
