I always love a surprise, especially after a long day at work. Who doesn’t?
I love receiving flowers, but I always worry about being gifted something that might be toxic to our cats. To be on the safe side, I keep flowers high up away from where our cats can reach them. The downside is that I can’t see them that well when they are so high up.
Another great gift I love is receiving a food gift. Fruits, nuts, chocolate… you name it. In fact, I’m a self described “choc-o-holic,” so ANYTHING with chocolate I will love.
I received to review the CUTEST Halloween themed gift from the brand Shari’s Berries. Shari’s Berries is the iconic brand known for its indulgent, hand-dipped strawberries and gourmet gifts that turn everyday moments into unforgettable celebrations. Of course they offer other gift options such as flowers, chocolates (yum!), baked goods, and more.
I have received Shari’s Berries before, but that was a long time ago. I remember the strawberries were huge and juicy. They were delicious. Sadly I cannot find any photos of them from that time.
Shari’s Berries was kind enough to send me a special Halloween themed gift of chocolate covered strawberries and I must say they are SO CUTE! It’s their Monster Dipped Strawberry gift box.
I’m sorry that my photos don’t do these justice. The orange is not as “washed out” looking as it is in my photos.
The box consisted of a dozen large chocolate covered strawberries decorated to look like pumpkins, aliens and mummies. The aliens remind me of the cute alien characters from the Toy Story movies. The only thing missing in the antennae on top.
At first I thought the mummies were ghosts, but you can tell by the way the chocolate on top looks like the gauze mummies are wrapped in.
These are “scrumdiddlyumptious” to quote Willie Wonka.
The strawberries and chocolate coating arrived fresh and in excellent edible condition. Since these are perishable it’s best to consume them within 48 hours of their arrival. They are best if you enjoy them the same day you receive them. I don’t think these can be frozen. I think it would affect the quality of the strawberries.
I was going to take a photo of a strawberry I cut open with a knife, but I couldn’t wait. I had to bite into it right away. Ha Ha.
These are not little strawberries either. These are all large strawberries. A few of the alien ones were HUGE.
This dipped chocolate covered strawberry collection is available in 1/2 dozen, one dozen and two dozen options.

Why should kids get all the sweet treats at Halloween? Grown ups deserve a little something too.
These would be great to send to a loved one, friend, or even bring in for an office Halloween party.
If they can make Halloween gifts look this good, I can only imagine how wonderful their Christmas and Hannukah options are going to be. Sadly they don’t have anything on their website (yet), but I plan on keeping an eye out for them. I know a few people I’d love to send some delicious goodies too.
They also have a Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberries option. Dubai chocolate seems to be all the rage these days. I haven’t tried any yet, but I’m anxious to try it out. Dubai chocolate looks so yummy.
Another amazing looking option Shari’s Berries offers is this beautiful Fleur De Chocolate Belgian Chocolate Roses in the colors of fall. Can you image this on your Thanksgiving table? It’s part centerpiece and part dessert.
You don’t need a holiday to send Shari’s Berries gifts. They are great for year round too (anniversary, wedding, birthday, retirement, just because). This Saturday (Oct. 18th) is mine and my husband’s 29th wedding anniversary. Feel free to send me a “happy anniversary” gift from Shari’s Berries (ha ha).
