Got to go? Make sure you have a “Restroom Kit” on hand

Let’s face it. We all have to “go.” It’s just a part of life. Thankfully for most people, when it comes time to use the restroom, we usually have a clean one to visit, whether it’s at home, or at work. But what happens when you are not at either place?

Public bathrooms tend to be some of the grossest, nastiest places to visit. I’ve seen restrooms so bad that I would rather do my business in the woods then take my chances using a public toilet.

Some places are kind enough to offer users those toilet seat covers (thankfully), but not all places do. I have had to resort to covering the toilet seat with toilet paper, just to protect my “assets.”

Have you ever gone into a public restroom only to find there is no toilet paper? I’ve had that happen plenty of times too – even at my job! I had to admit it, but I’ve had to resort to using paper towels. They are not exactly the softest paper to use “down there.” If anything, it’s a bit too rough, but it’s better than nothing.

What if you find toilet seat covers, toilet paper, but no soap or wipes? Eww… you don’t want to go without washing your hands, most especially today. We all know how very important hand washing is, now more than ever.

What if you had to use a port-a-potty? Those are the worse!

What if… and this sounds downright terrifying… you find yourself in a situation where there is no toilet seat cover, not toilet paper and no soap to wash your hands? Yikes! That is a nightmare situation. I have had that happen to me before, and I have left to find other facilities, or simply “held it” until I got home or work.

Fear not! There is something you can do in such a situation. Simply break out your Restroom Kit. What is a Restroom Kit you might ask? It’s one of those ingenious ideas that you wonder why no one thought of it until now.

The Restroom Kit is a compact (about the size of a deck of cards) “kit” that contains the things you’ll need in a public restroom – a toilet seat cover, ample toilet paper, and hand wipes.

Seriously… why has no one thought of this until now?

I was sent a few kits to check out for myself. I had planned on opening one up to take pictures of what is inside, but then I thought to myself “why?” I think it’s safe to assume most people are familiar with what toilet paper looks like, and I’m sure most people know what a toilet seat cover and hand wipes look like. I didn’t see a need to waste a kit just for the sake of taking a picture of toilet paper.

This brief video shows you want you get inside the kit.

This is a MUST have wherever you go – and “go.” Stadiums, parks, stores… wherever you find public restrooms.

The kits are small, so they can easily fit inside your purse, backpack, coat pocket, glove box and just about anywhere else.

The Restroom Kit is available for purchase online. They are available in 3-packs, and all the way up to a 500 pack (that’s A LOT of public restroom visits). The more you purchase, the lower per cost of the kits.

You can also get a sample kit to check out for yourself, but you do have to pay a shipping & handling fee (I’m not sure what that is – I’m sure it depends on your zip code).

I LOVE this idea. I gave my husband and each of my kids a kit to keep on them when they are out and about (they have them in their cars). I keep mine in my purse.

What do you think of this fabulous idea? Have you ever found yourself in a public restroom that was missing vital necessities?
