Now that summer is “un-officially” here, and the official start to summer just days away, it’s time to start thinking about all we want to do this summer for fun and enjoyment.
Many people go away on vacation with their families and friends. Sadly, my family and I don’t get to do things like that. We can’t afford it so we just do day trips and “staycations.”
I don’t work during the summer. I work in a school and I’m off all summer (yeah me!). I’m perfectly OK closing the curtains, cranking the AC and binge watching my favorite shows and catching up on movies I have been anxious to watch.
If you are planning on hanging out at home a lot this summer, you might want to check out what COMET TV is offering viewers. Let’s just say it’s going to be a “monster” of a summer.
If you have never heard of COMET TV before, it’s a new television channel that is dedicated to sci-fi entertainment. They offer popular favorites, cult classics, and undiscovered gems.
COMET is available in many locations across the country. You can check on it’s availability on their website. Don’t worry if COMET is not available near you. You can still access it via ROKU, Apple TV or you can simply stream it live on your computer. I’m able to access it from my computer and our other devices (we have ROKU in the bedroom and Apple TV in the living room).
Actually, COMET TV’s monster summer already started. But that is OK. You have the entire summer to enjoy fun monster flicks.

1 – COMET TV Monster Summer SPF Pouch: Beat the rays with this Monster Summer SPF pouch. Apply liberally to ward off the sun, The Beast from the Haunted Cave, Rodan or any other variety of lizard-like beast.

Elizabeth Ray says
In general, my mother forbade us from watching anything scary. (She didn’t let my brother have cap guns until she realized that without them, they either pointed fingers or sticks, yelling “bang!”) The first scary movie I ever saw staying up past my bedtime to watch it in secret) was “The Birds.” Starting out with Hitchcock! Yipes!
My husband, on the other hand, often watched almost everything on the CometTV list! This would be a major blast from the past for him! (I’d say his favorite monster would probably be Godzilla, from the Raymond Burr movie.

I have always been a big Godzilla fan. As a child, I loved watching the silly Godzilla movies like Godzilla Vs Megalon, watching the Hanna Barbara Godzilla cartoons on Saturday mornings, and reading the Marvel Godzilla comic books. As an adult, I enjoy the more serious Godzilla films, like Gojira and Shin Godzilla, as well as the new American Godzilla films. Thank you for the fun giveaway.
