My real hair. I’m a natural blonde/dirty blonde. I like to color my hair darker (reddish-brown/auburn) colors.
My hair was always my “crowning glory,” so to speak. I used to have very thick, luscious hair.
When I was younger, my brother-in-law’s sister used to be my hair dresser. She used to say that I had a “lion’s mane” because my hair was so thick. People used to charge me extra at hair salon’s to do my hair because it was so thick. You had to see how thick my ponytails were. I had to use two elastic bands to ensure it held in place.
Fast forward to now. My hair looks sad and pathetic. Even my ponytail’s look sad.
My hair makes me very unhappy these days. Just seeing myself in the mirror is depressing.
I know your hair changes with age (I’m 50-something now). That’s a given. I also suffer from hypothyroidism, and that can play a part in hair loss as well.

Look at how much hair I had back in the day! I miss my hair!

Wedding photo.
I’ve tried many things over the years to help my hair get back to the way it once looked, or even half of the way it used to look. Supplements, shampoos, lotions… you name it, I probably tried it to now avail.
A while back I was sent some products from the haircare company Kiierr.
Kiierr is known for it’s Laser Hair Cap to help with hair loss and growth. Yes, you read that correctly – a Laser Hair Cap. It looks a lot like a baseball cap, but the reality is that inside there are special low light therapy lasers that help your hair.
Here is some additional information about the brand.
Mike and Jolene Anderson are the husband-and-wife team that founded Kiierr. With a background in low-level light therapy (LLLT) and a personal connection with hair loss and hair growth, they let their passion for healing people lead the way. They personally discovered the benefits of LLLT and decided to bring those same benefits into the lives of others across the country. They truly care about the people they serve; that’s why they founded Kiierr.
Their mission is simple – Get the Kiierr laser cap into the hands and onto the heads of as many people as possible. Today, Kiierr is a tight-knit team of great people who enjoy doing good in the world by growing hair and confidence one laser cap at a time.
I did not receive a Laser Hair Cap to review (I’m not a hat persona anyway), but I did receive some other Kiierr products to try out.
I received the following products.
PLEASE NOTE – All of the product photos with ingredients are from the Kiier website. They own the copyright. I am only using them to highlight their products.

I am very picky when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. They both must rinse out of my hair easily, and fully. I do not like products that take forever to completely get out of your hair.
I have been using the same brand name shampoo and conditioners for years (some from the salon, some from the drug store). I know what I like and I stick with it. I also rotate the products I use. I have one expensive and one drug store brand of shampoo and conditioner I tend to use most often. Whenever I use another shampoo and/or conditioner I tend to compare it to them. For this shampoo and container it took a few uses before I got used to it.
The shampoo is fine. For the conditioner, I wished it left my hair feeling softer. I’m not sure how well it moisturizes. I have some hair that is bleached. My hair is two different colors (reddish brown on top, dark purple underneath). My hair had to be bleached for the purple, so it’s a bit dried out on the ends. I was hoping this conditioner would provide more moisture for my hair. It doesn’t. But that is okay since I use leave in products after my shower any way.
Right now it’s too early to tell without a doubt that I am seeing a difference. I did notice that my hair does not seem to be falling out by the handful like it was prior to using this shampoo and conditioner. I am seeing a lot less hair in the drain after my shower. Even if there isn’t any noticeable hair growth, the fact that I am not losing a lot of hair helps.

Kiierr Vitamin Gummies for Hair Growth
Biotin Supports Strong, Healthy Hair
Our popular Biotin gummies are formulated with Coconut Oil and Elderberry, Kiierr Biotin Gummy Vitamins promote strong, healthy hair growth.
I cannot tell you if these vitamins and gummies are working as far as hair growth (I have not noticed any as mentioned above).
The vitamins are good for you to begin with. They are rather large capsules. I’m not a fan of capsules. Due to surgery I had, they sometimes get stuck and break open (it has to do with my lap band surgery). The inside tastes gross – BUT – all of the capsules I’ve taken over the years that get stuck and open up taste gross. It’s NOT just this product. For this reason, I always took them right before eating, that way I knew they would go down and not get stuck.
The gummies are nice. They are strawberry flavored. They were very enjoyable (yummy!). I looked forward to taking them every day.
I already took a Biotin supplement, so I am familiar with how they work. I’m not sure about my hair (as mentioned above – less falling out), but my nails looked better than they have in a while. Biotin helps with nail growth too.
Overall I am on the fence about these products. They are all good, but I cannot tell you without a doubt that they help you to grow back your hair. In my case they have been helping me not to loose hair, which I’ll take. Trust me, don’t want to lose anymore hair! I don’t want to develop bald spots or have my hair look stringy. If using these products has helped slow down hair loss, I call that a win.
I think with these types of products you need to use them consistently for a couple of month to get a better idea of how well they are helping.
