Do you always eat a healthy and nutritious meal for every meal of the day? Or are you someone who grabs whatever is available, healthy or not, as you dash out the door? Or perhaps you just don’t want to be bothered to break out the pots and pans and whip up a decent meal. Whatever the reason might be, eating healthy and nutritious meals should be a priority, along with drinking plenty of water.
I will admit that I don’t eat healthy all day long. I might have some cereal or oatmeal for breakfast, no lunch, but a healthy dinner. My problem is snacking, especially at night. I think it’s because I don’t eat enough during the day that I find myself hungry at night.
I don’t always have time to make a great lunch before heading out the door to work (I start work in the afternoon). By the time I am hungry it’s time to head out the door. What I need is something quick and easy to make that I can enjoy on-the-go, as well as at home.
I was recently sent to review a meal replacement product called HLTH Code. HLTH Code is a clean, delicious, keto-friendly and gluten-free meal replacement shake made specifically for busy lifestyles. This is not only for busy working people, but also buy parents.
When your day consists of things like school runs, work, shopping, sports, and everything in between, who has time for planning, preparing, AND sitting down for a balanced meal all the time.

Here is some more information about HLTH Code.
In 2020, working with a leading metabolic scientist, HLTH Code creator Joel Bikman developed a revolutionary meal replacement shake that prioritizes health over hype — using only carefully selected, high-quality ingredients to support energy, satiety, weight management, and blood sugar stability.
HLTH Code is a nutritionally complete meal replacement shake that’s helped feel healthier! (Check out the 3,500+ 5-star product reviews). You’ll get an optimized, science-backed blend of 27 grams of high-quality protein, healthy fats, apple cider vinegar, probiotics, prebiotic fiber, digestive enzymes, and vitamins and minerals without any added sugar, extra carbs or anything artificial.
Carefully formulated to improve your health, this delicious shake is also more convenient and affordable than virtually any meal that you could make or purchase (only about $3/meal). It’ll help you manage your weight and build lean muscle, and feel more energized. (Making it easier to run after those little ones!) Plus, you’ll feel full until your next meal.

HLTH Code is currently available in original (Creamy Vanilla and Chocolate Macadamia), plant based (Chocolate and Vanilla), and flavor fusions (Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, Salted Caramel).
HLTH Code sent me a bag of their Creamy Vanilla and Chocolate Macadamia, along with a shaker, to try out for myself.
I was shocked at how big the bags were and hefty too. There is a lot of product in each bag. You can get 15 meals from each bag.
The product comes in powdered form that you mix into 8 ounces of cold water. You can use a shaker or a blender (if you have one of those little hand held ones that would be ideal). You can also mix the product into a variety of recipes. You can check out the many recipes on the brand’s website here.
Here are two seasonal themed recipes from the brand’s website.

I personally tried the recipes for the Mexican Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Yogurt. I used the Chocolate Macadamia in both, but I also used the Creamy Vanilla mixed with yogurt too. I just happen to be more of a chocolate fan in general.

Of the two flavors I do prefer the Chocolate Macadamia. I don’t really get much of a sense of the macadamia, but there is a bit of a nuttiness I suppose in the flavor. It’s not just a chocolate flavor. You can tell there is a little more to it, if that makes sense.
I grew up drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast. That was what I had pretty much every morning before school, so I am used to a drink like this.
There is no comparing the two. Hands down HLTH Code is much healthier for you. HLTH Code has 27 grams of protein compared to Carnation’s 13 grams. It’s more than double! Plus HLTH Code has more vitamins and minerals and the ones that are similar in both products, HLTH Code has a higher percentage value. Carnation also has no dietary fiber (HLTH Code does) and contains more sugar. The better choice is obvious.
The two products don’t taste the same. Carnation has a more “chocolate-y” taste, and it’s sweeter. It has more of a candy taste where as HLTH Code chocolate tastes different, but in a good way.
The Creamy Vanilla is very “vanilla-y,” so if you love vanilla, you’ll love this flavored HLTH Code product.
It did take me a bit to get used to drinking HLTH Code. The first few times my stomach felt a bit “off.” I honestly don’t now if it was just my stomach’s way of getting used to the product, or a stomach bug. My husband had a stomach bug a few days prior. I didn’t have symptoms like he did, but everyone is different, so who knows.

As for how filling the product is, I think it’s pretty filling for my needs. I think the fiber and protein has a lot to do with that. I wish my blender didn’t die on me. I would have loved to try this in smoothies, so for now I have to use the shaker. A shaker is fine, but you have to really shake it up to make sure you have no lumps. That would happen with any powdered mx.
The above picture shows lumps in the bag, but once you hit it with the scoop they crumble apart and get lose again. They are lose lumps, not solid ones. They are easy to “break,” if you know what I mean?
I appreciate the fact you can use these powders in recipes, so even if you don’t need it as a meal replacement, you are still getting all the health benefits that come with the product.
