Introducing the NanoTorch Twist from KeySmart

The holiday season can be a stressful time. Not only to do you need to worry about entertaining out of town guests, family and friend, but you also have to spend hours driving all over town looking for gifts for everyone on your holiday gift list. Others might choose to spend sleepless nights browsing the internet for the perfect gift. I’m an online shopper myself (I hate crowds and long lines).

I know from first hand experience that it’s not always easy to find gifts for others. Take my father for example. He doesn’t want or need anything, and if he did, he’d just go out and buy it.

People often think that practical gifts are not as stupendous as other gifts might be. Perhaps that might be the case sometimes, but not always.

Let me introduce you to a practical gift idea that I personally feel would make a marvelous gift. It’s called NanoTorch Twist by KeySmart. It’s an interesting flashlight that I’m sure will often come in handy.

I know what you a thinking – giving someone a flashlight as a gift? How much fun would that be?

We all need a flashlight at one point or another in our lives. Some people more than others. Here are a few examples;

  • During a black out
  • While working on a car’s engine
  • To light to way when camping
  • To give to a child who is afraid of the dark
  • To find lost things behind or under furniture

These are just a few examples. I’m sure there are many more (I can’t think at the moment… need more coffee!).

There are plenty of flashlights on the market, but the NanoTorch Twist has features that other flashlights might not have.

The NanoTorch Twist features:

– A rotating swivel head
– A rechargeable battery
– Magnetic tail cap and pocket clip for hands-free use
– 5 light modes, perfectly versatile for home, yard, emergency and car
– Made from machined aluminum casing, the NanoTorch touts a 50,000 hour lifetime.

The NanoTorch Twist is weighs only y 3.25 oz, and it’s less than 5″ in size, making it the perfect companion for travel, camping, or any possible emergency situation. It can easily slip into your pocket, purse, luggage, cabinet, drawer or car’s glove box.

I was sent the NanoTorch Twist to review.

I didn’t watch the video BEFORE I received the flashlight. When it arrived I was trying to figure out how to charge it (it comes with a charging cord/plug). I looked all over the flashlight. I honestly thought I was going crazy!

I reached out to the brand and found out that you charge the battery that is inside the flashlight. It looks like a normal AA size battery, but there is a little hole in it where you plug in the charging cord to charge it.

I’ve never charged a battery that way before. It’s kind of cool.

This flashlight is BRIGHT. As in super bright. I mistakenly turned it on while it was facing me and was nearly blinded by the light. It’s powerful!

I love that it has different settings. That way you can adjust it to suit your needs. Take for example a child who is afraid of the dark. They wouldn’t need the super bright setting. A softer setting would be better so as not to keep them up all night (the brightest setting would probably illuminate the entire bedroom).

The safety settings are handy too, especially when driving, camping or hiking.

The swivel head is a great idea. That way you can make sure the flashlight is facing where ever you need it the most.

The magnetic base is also handy. At the moment I haven’t found a need for that feature (yet), but I’m sure I will eventually, especially when my husband is doing work on our cars. It is nice to have that “hands free” option.

It’s also important to have a functioning flashlight in case of emergencies. You never know when you might experience a black out.

This flashlight would make a great gift for anyone – grandparents, college students, mechanics, hikers, campers…
