What happened to the weather? One minute it’s too warm for the season and the next minute we have the fan packed away and the heat turned on. Even today it’s cold here in New York (currently 43 degrees – Brrrr!). We even had SNOW showers this past weekend. I was shocked to look out the window and see snow. Hopefully it was a fluke and not a sign of things to come because I am so NOT ready for a harsh, cold, snowy winter. Snow is lovely to look at provided I’m looking at it through the window while I’m cozy and warm inside.
I’ve already swapped out my wardrobe bringing my long sleeves and sweaters forward in the closet and moving my lightweight and short sleeve clothing in the back. I’ve even moved my footwear around so that I am ready for the weather no matter what it is.
I’m a sneaker girl. I don’t mean I’m a “sneaker head” where I must buy the latest and greatest pair of $$$$ sneakers. What I mean is that I enjoy wearing sneakers. I find them the most comfortable. However there are times sneakers are not very practical and you need something warmer on your feet.
This winter I’ll be rocking a new pair of boots from the brand Mykos.

Earlier in the year I wrote about a new pair of warmer weather shoes I was sent to review by the brand – my Piper Slip-on Shoes. Now I’ve swapped them out for a pair of Bailee Women’s Zip-Up Wedge Boot. This boot is great to wear with all your fall and winter fashions.
Crafted from premium suede, this boot features a luxurious faux rabbit fur collar that adds a touch of elegance to your ensemble.
This beautiful boot is available in women’s sizes 5-12 and in four fashionable colors – smoke (grey), hickory (brown), navy and taupe. Mine are in navy, but it’s such a dark navy that it can pass as black too.
This boot features;

That is great to know about the water and stain resistant technology because I was ready to spray on some water protectant. I wouldn’t want anything to ruin the look of this boot.
The one thing I have always loved about the Mykos (former LâMO) brand is that all the shoes I have ever received to review always fit my foot perfectly. There is none of that “breaking in” period where the shoes are stiff and not very flexible. The shoes (and boots) always slip on my feet and feel like the perfect comfortable fit from the very first wear. They are already “broken in,” if that makes any sense.
These boots are SO COMFORTABLE. They don’t even feel like a boot you wear outside your home. They are as comfy as your favorite pair of slippers you wear around your home. Now I can take that comfy feeling where every I go outside my home.
You don’t have to change out of these boots when you get to work. Because they look so nice you can wear them all day long.
These will keep your feel warm, but not so warm where it’s going to make your feet feel hot and sweaty.
I like the heel on this boot. It’s considered a wedge but it honestly don’t feel that way on your feet.
I also appreciate the grip on the bottom of the shoe.
You can see how plush and soft the faux fur is. It’s as plush as it looks in my photos.
I have chubby legs (“cankles”) and these boots zipper up perfectly fine.

It’s obvious that Mykos puts a lot of heart and soul into making a quality product. Everything is made exceptionally well – no loose heels, no loose threads, no marks or blemishes. They even put care into how the package their shoes to you, ensuring they make it to you safe and sound. They wrap their shoes up individually in cloth bags.
Price wise I feel like Mykos shoes are comparable with other great quality shoes.
